It's perfectly possible to ovulate that early - I tended to ovulate days 20-23 whether it was a 30 or 45 day cycle!

Can I be added please? I came off the pill about a week or so ago (I can't really remember). I was on cerezette, AF hasn't shown yet but I can't be PG as OH and I had a huge argument so no fun times for a while until we made up on Sunday!

Not planning to actively try (ovulation kits etc) for a while just to see if it happens but if it doesn't then I'll probably go down that route in the summer.

I'm 31, married, own house and not particularly maternal! But if I don't do it now I never will! OH really wants kids and I'm pretty excited about the whole thing. Bring on the BFP!

Edit: I should probably also mention I have an underactive thyroid too

    morning all :)
Just back from final 2 hour root canal treatment at the dentist, joy! All done now though

-ve test this morning, AF due tomorrow. No spotting or usual giant spots so hopefully I'm still in with a chance

Welcome Rambosmum :hello: I've got hypothyroidism, it didn't cause me any problems last time around apart from regular blood tests and seeing an endocrinology consultant to monitor levels.

    Welcome rambosmum :o

I am so glad its all done LittleMoog!! root canal treatments are awful things.

oh ellesbellesxx :( I'm sorry its happened to you too. Why don't people think before opening their mouths!! It's like salt in the wound when you wish you were. And Cuilean for a lady to just stop your friend like that!

I'm having a little freak out at home alone. I've just carried on with a little bit of light brown discharge since AF was roughly due. With sometimes having nothing there. But i have very real AF ache. So, to put mind at rest, I've taken a HPT and there is a very very TLP. I don't know wether I am imagining it, and its OK because its just too tiny.

It might be a dud! so I'm trying not to waste the other test and just chill out

Congrats Lottieou if it is TLP :j:j My first 2 positive pregnancy tests were barely visible but got darker as the days went on.
I'm now 6+4 weeks pregnant and have had brown spotting on and off - it's very common. Every second post on the BabyCentre pregnancy forum is about someone getting brown spotting!! If you are pregnant it's nothing to worry about unless it is accompanied by pain, dizziness or red blood. I mentioned it to my GP yesterday and he booked me in for an early scan so get to see my baby tomorrow, bit nervous but fingers crossed all will be OK, especially since the nausea has started since yesterday

I hope you guys don't mind me hanging out here, the under 12 weeks thread is very quiet.

Hi ladies and welcome to any newbies.
Congrats on your TLP LottieLou - hope it turns into a BFP soon :)
I've been a bit quiet lately as just waiting for AF. I knew I was out this month after very early positive OPK (CD 10) and no bd'ing around that time (so yes Cuilean, it is possible to OV that early!).
AF arrived today so am now CD1.

Hello all, I'm jumping aboard this rollercoaster again. My daughter was 6 months old yesterday and hubby and I aren't spring chickens hence trying so soon for our second. Last time we tried on and off for quite a few years then stopped for about 18months whilst I lost weight in the end it took 7 months to conceive. I'm currently on Cd20 and doubt very much that I conceived this month because we only DTD on cd15 but that doesn't stop me driving myself nuts during the 2ww. Looking forward to getting to know you all
Congrats lottielou, hope its a bfp soon

Welcome Lemon Tree. Hope your stay is short :)

With DD3, all it took was one try. We only BD once in that month and I had my BFP 2 weeks later... It ain't over 'til AF shows herself.
  • Hi Amy, really hope everything goes well tomorrow xxx

    Hi all,

    Can I be added please?

I'm 31, have been trying to conceive since mid Jan 2015. We aren't using ovulation kits, just trying to regularly BD. This will be my first baby. I've been wanting to try for a while, but now my husband feels ready to aswell :-)
