Rampant Recycler I've been Money Tipped!
    Hello to all :)
    Second post!
I was wondering, does anyone have any recommendations as to what vitamins I should be taking when TTC? I bought a pack of the "Pregnacare Conception" vitamins, but they are super expensive!!

I bought Folic Acid, Vitamin D and a B6 Complex - all for about a tenner and I've got a good stash now. I bought the folic acid on a 3 for £6 deal and got 520 tablets!

    Yay Lottie!! :D

Haha I am trying my hardest to move him away from football!

    Lottielou, that's great yay!!!!

Sciencegrrl/Cuilean - I tried pregnacare then seven seas - both also messed with my err "regularity!" now just trying sains own folic acid then a vitamin c/zinc - still not ideal but better! Was really bunged up on holiday camping when taken 7 seas and it was not good! Sorry for TMI! XX

    Congrats Lottie!

Cuilean - I was annoyed last week when our dog threw up early morning and I had to get up, thus not leaving a clear 3 hours sleep before doing my temp. On Sunday I heard him doing it again but refused to get up as really didn't want to wreck my temp chart that close to ov having put the effort in the previous two weeks. The little pain-in-the-butt hasn't been sick for a very long time, not sure why he chose this week!

I already take iron tablets and have started on 5mg folic acid (prescribed by Dr as I'm diabetic), but not taking any other vitamins at the moment. I'll be seeing the Dr as soon as I get BFP so will find out then if they recommend me taking anything else.

    Morning all!

Still no sign of AF (due Tuesday) but POAS at least twice a day and all negative. So I guess stress or something else is delaying it!

Congrats LottieLou fingers crossed for your weekend test plan!

Glad your scan went well Amy - it is nice to hear the PG stories on here too - gives me hope!

Culiean - I am with your OH about a December baby - I don't want one.....I am even thinking of skipping BD this cycle to avoid it (but then my OH pointed out that BD next cycle would be a Jan baby and would only need it to be a couple of weeks early and it is a Christmas baby). Rational part of me says it surely doesn't matter to a kid when their birthday is but then i don't like my bday being close to christmas. But we can't waste a cycle (or even 2!) can we?! It would be silly when we've been trying for 6months!

I am so confused over what to do!
    Mort at highest - June 2008 - £171,000 - Daily Int 5.9% = £27.64:eek:
    Offset Mort - Nov 2010 £150,299- Daily Int 3.75% = Nov £15.44
    Mortgage Jan 2012 - £136,000 - Daily Int 3.75% - £3.10

I hope you guys don't mind me hanging out here, the under 12 weeks thread is very quiet.

AmyTurtle, it's lovely to hear how you're getting on - and great to hear all's looking well :T But I have to confess to an awful, crippling envy - I would have been eight weeks today and it's really eating me up. I keep thinking I'm just being stupid, because I miscarried so early there was no baby per se, just a bunch of cells that I wouldn't have even realised was there if I hadn't been tracking and testing so intently. But it still cuts really deep and I'm terrified I won't be able to get pregnant *and* keep it to term. Everyone keeps telling me to relax and it will happen, but I can't help worrying.

Am currently waiting for ovulation - I saw EWCM Monday Tuesday, so have been DTD every day this week, but haven't felt any ovulation pains and cm seems to have dried up, so think it might be another dud month :( Meanwhile one friend's about to drop and another's just announced her pregnancy, so am feeling pretty lonely.

It really helps to have all you ladies here though, some of the stories really make me smile :) Pets can be a nightmare - our cat put paid to one conception effort by attacking OH's toes halfway through! Rather put him off his stride :rotfl:

Finally, a massive congratulations to LottieLou! Everything crossed for a happy and healthy pregnancy xx

I know what you mean. I'm really happy for all the BFPs but I had a MC a few years back, we weren't trying and it wasn't really the right time for a baby but still, when I miscarried it was horrible. I'm now terrified that I can't carry to term. I know it's irrational, I know it is unlikely, but the fear is still there.

Congratulations Amy and Lottie! I really am happy for you, all the best with your pregnancies.

Fingers crossed the rest of us will be there soon.

Yes, please add me to the list. Yikes! This makes it all very real!

AF arrived yesterday (first after coming off the pill) so I guess it's CD2 today?

    Hi all

Havent posted in a while as not much happening here.

Big fat TTC hugs to Black ribboner, I have been there (twice) and know how you must be feeling. It will take time to come to terms with, however early the loss. The hardest time for me was the due date (haven't got to the second one yet), but it does get easier, although you never forget a loss.

Visiting my sisters 3 month old in a few weeks, and I definitely have the green eyed monster eating away at me.

On another note, I have the naughtiest pair of cats going who literally rule the roost at home. Every night without fail at 3am they will have a wrestling match across our bed, then one will want to go out the window onto the roof so will play tarzan on the blinds until I get up. Then the other will do the same half an hour later when I just start to drop off. I cant kick them out before we go to bed as they sit out the front and both whine at the top of their voices so wake all the neighbours, and we cant shut them up in a room as they rip up the carpets so we are resigned to the idea of the nightly wake up calls. Good practice for a baby I suppose ;)

Congrats LottieLou. Hope you have a wonderful time and they look after you on the next thread. :j

Worry wort, I feel for you. I do the same as a few on here have mentioned. Do the TTC without telling OH your doing it! My OH just wants to see what happens, but I know when I OV (sort of) so give him a nudge and a wink and he is none the wiser. Has worked in the past so will keep it up;).

As for me, I didn't do OPK's this month as I need to get some more. Hardly BD either so just waiting for AF to start so I can reset for next month. Just booked a trip to Iceland in October so a bit of me didn't want to conceive this cycle as I really want to go!

    Morning ladies :)

AF arrived overnight, so can I be updated to CD1 please. Bit annoyed as we made a pretty good effort at SMEP this month. Never mind, on to the next cycle. :o

Hugs to all that need them x
