Ahhh Cuilean
Yes, I think the universe was telling you to lie in XXX

Ugh I am really suffering at work today. I've gone back on the agnus to try and straighten things out, as we've decided to have a break for a couple of months.
Day four of taking the castus and got severe period pain, no bleeding yet though. It really seems to work for me!!!0 -
Oh Cuilean, I feel guilty but I couldn't stop laughing! I hope your heads ok!!
I'm glad it works well for you aileth, I've heard good things about it.
I don't know what CD i'm onmy AF hasn't really developed into anything yet….I have wore pads just incase but nothing that a panty liner couldn't have coped with (sorry if TMI). Its just not like me, at all. I will keep waiting and see.
To top it off, a girl on Saturday night, (an american in the UK for 1 night?! decided to tag along with some of my guy friends) turned round to me in the middle of me chatting to her and trying to be nice she asked if i was pregnant!!
Cheeky cow, lol i am bloated, but good god i didn't think I looked THAT bloated. She called herself a douchebag the rest of the night and I didn't disagree with her. :rotfl:0 -
Oh no, Lottie - you'll probably be able to laugh about it later, but is that a prime example of bad timing or what? Referring to herself as a "douchebag" (Love that insult, but it sounds wrong in anything but an American accent) is probably nothing compared to what she'd call herself if she knew you were TTC.
If it's any consolation, a friend who is (by her own admission) "slightly round in shape", had her baby last year. An elderly lady stopped us when we were walking to the shops last month, and said my friend didn't look far off her due date. I'm not sure which of us was more embarrassed when my friend said she wasn't expecting. We don't talk about that day any more
Aileth, I'm interested in castus. I think the TTC tablets from Seven Seas are upsetting my stomach a bit. Let us know how it goes for you.© Cuilean 2005. Any connection between your reality and mine is purely coincidental.0 -

Lottielou, I can sympathise with that - a music teacher at school who I haven't seen since before Christmas, congratulated me on my "obvious" pregnancy on Friday - I have put on about 5lb since then but am still 10-12, didn't think I looked pregnant!? It was embarrassing for him too, but for me...well I did have to have a little cry
(Would not have minded at all if I was!)

Thanks Lulu for the book recommendation. :T
There's an over 40s version?! I need to look that up.
So 2nd month and no sign of ovulation. My ewcm hasn't msde an appearance since Jan and I've been OPKing most days since CD10 this month and nothing convincing. Have done a little BDing so I guess it's a waiting game again, not holding out much hope though.
My MIL was convinced I was pregnant a couple of weeks ago, refused to believe me when I insisted I wasn't, apparently I had a "glow".. ie. I've gained weight but she's too polite to say!
Cuilean, sorry for your difficult morning but thanks for the chuckle. And Aileth, so pleased for you!0 -

Snow_ball, it's in the book lulu92 mentioned. It's a very short book and free (very MSE), so not difficult to get through.
I'm being positive this month. I think last month I was too negative and I had a lot of stress and not getting enough sleep. This month, I'm consciously avoiding stress and going to bed before midnight (last month it was mostly 1-3am bedtime). As I'm self-employed, it does mean I won't earn as much this month as I won't be working as much, but if the end result is a baby, it's worth it!0 -
At last, aileth! Plenty of Vodka and Krispy Kreme for you.
Sorry to hear about your ordeal Cuilean!
Hope everyone is okay and the weekend was good
CD12 here and no positive OPK but DTD every other day. I should be expecting it tonight but it is OH's birthday tomorrow so hopefully can manage some BD before we go out..Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

Ovulation on CD11 - possible?
The Fertility Monitor told me it was peak fertility today, literally as OH was heading out of the door for work, which meant I inadvertently bellowed to the neighbourhood "Peak! We'll be doing BD tonight!". Oops. It's a bit unexpected though. No EWCM or any other signs.
However, surely CD11 is too soon? FF said CD15 for both this month and last month, and Glow backed that up. I seem to have a regular 28/29 day cycle, after all. However, if I do ovulate earlier, that would explain why the IC OPKs and the CB's always registered high but never peak when I tested around CD15 during the other months. Perhaps I need to unpack some boxes and find the IC OPKs and the Boots OPKs to double check. Maybe I am an early ovulator? I feel I need a badge for this - "I ovulate when least expected"© Cuilean 2005. Any connection between your reality and mine is purely coincidental.0
