Hi everyone, hugs all round (sounds like they're needed!).

I totally get the jealous feelings/upset when other people announce they're expecting - been there, done that. There are times I've been really thankful for social media announcements because, if it were face to face, it could be really awkward what with the tears, seething jealousy, outright hatred, etc... Facebook makes it much easier to come back an hour or so later and type "Congrats! So happy for you!" with gritted teeth and copious amounts of chocolate.

I don't think it's even just women who get like that, my husband got really (really!) annoyed with William and Kate for naming their daughter Charlotte cos that's the name he liked if we had a girl (we weren't even ttc at the time!). Or maybe my husband is just weird...

Yep, Mothers Day when TTC absolutely sucks... had all the kids ready for World Book Day pics on FB the other day and all the happy mummies today having breakfast in bed with homemade cards... yes, bitter MancMama is back today!

I also feel a tiny bit upset that none of my friends has thought to get in touch and see if I'm finding today difficult... I would've been 24 weeks now and things would have felt so different...

Let's hope for a good week this week and some good news to perk us all up! Sending hugs Xx

Welcome Easily I buy my opks from ebay/amazon, I think I got about 30 for £3-4.

Midget what a blooming insensitive thing to say, some people must not think before they open their mouths.

    Manc take care of yourself.

Another vote here for Mother's Day being a blooming nightmare when ttc :(:(:(

    Hi ladies,
I'm sadly back, don't really know the protocol for discussing the reason I went away and have come back less than 9 months later (I'm sure you can all figure it out) so I'll just say I am TTC and I'm desperately hoping this will be my month!

hugs to everyone. Sorry I don't quite understand the colour thing if I'm supposed to write in a certain colour? (Updating off I phone)

I've been poorly with a water infection and on antibiotics so there's been no BD this week! :-( xx

At least having all been in this position we're going to be far less obnoxious and insensitive in the future when it comes to things like stupid bloody Mothers Day, which I'm sure others will be thankful for!I for one am taking a solo vow here and now to never post a pic of my kid bringing me breakfast in bed and writing some daft soppy nonsense about it. Then again, it will be MY kid so that would probably never happen because they'll likely be a nightmare, hahaha.
