Welcome Little angel, i've heard that breast feeding can effect cycles but as im trying for #1 i unfortunatley don't have any advice. I've heard lots of good things about B6, maybe it will just take a while to start having an effect.

Really sorry to hear about your Dad pink petal :(

easilydistracted - I used to use the ClearBlue OPKs and spent a fortune but then started using the cheapies from Amazon as well and i always got a clear dark second line when i would get a static smiley on the ClearBlue. So i now just use the cheapie ones. I do these when i get in from work around 5.30pm and its always obvious to me when I get a surge as the line is really dark. Obviously different people have different experiences.

CD31 9DPO here, temp still high, but it usually starts to go on a slow decline from 10dpo with AF arriving on 13dpo so will see what happens. Getting a few little cramps.

Hi all 11DPO today and still spotting - just want AF to come now.

Interestingly had my thyroid bloods back and they said i'm in the normal range now, so meds are working. Fingers crossed this means next month can be our month.

Think I'm on to cycle 8 now maybe? But 11 months...

Thanks for the kind wishes. I'm a bit calmer today, was just a bit of a shock yesterday.

had a good chat with hubby about it last night and we've decided to plough on with TTC on our own until my dad's next round of treatment is done. I think the stress of being tested etc along with all his treatment would be too much and stress me out. So I think I'll plan to go to the docs in May if nothing has happened.

I'm now on CD8 and my FF app says that my fertile days start on CD14...but another app says CD9. I'm surprised there's such a big difference??

I use both the cheap OPKs and the Clearblue ones...but the CB ones are so expensive so I used the cheap ones until I think I've got a surge then I just double check it with the CB one to make sure I get a smiley face! I tend to get my best results if I test about 2pm but with work that's not always possible...I'm yet to work out how to sneak a plastic cup and OPK into the ladies loo without being seen!

BD to everyone waiting and anyone like me at the start of another cycle!

Pinkpetal I am so sorry to hear about your dad :( I cannot begin to imagine how you are feeling - puts my issues into perspective!

Back at work today, CD 42 and still no AF, don't think she is coming! Can that happen? Just miss a cycle? Not sure how to proceed from here - should I just start OPKs for OV again?

Bad news at work today, my boss is leaving, which means more stress for me covering our dept on my own until they can get someone new and covering another dept on my own over Easter holidays :(

Oh clarabell it sucks but this is what I had in December. Never quite got a positive opk and then AF just never showed. Ended up being 73 days then a super light one, which from reading seems to imply I never ovulated. It's called an annovulatory cycle I think.

You can of course start opks as you could on...but you may get through a lot and of course it may just not happen.

So frustrating but mine have been fine since so hopefully it's just a one off.

Aw Pink Petal, so sorry to hear that, you must be devastated, life can be so cruel sometimes :(

On the subject of OPKs, I use the CB digital ones, they seem really good. I find it reassuring getting the solid smiley, just knowing that I'm ovulating each month is a good sign, I think. It gives me hope anyway!

Thanks Cats, I've ordered some more cheapie ones from Amazon and will just test and see what happens. Hopefully after this no show things will come back round to normal for me too! Xx

Jojo I've tried the CB digital but not getting solid smileys on them. Making me think that I haven't been ovulating :( like you, if I knew I was ovulating this would settle my mind but I'm not even getting that just now! Xx

Welcome littleangel, hope you're not stuck here too long.

Pink so sorry to hear about your dad, sending hugs your way.

Easily these are the opks I use http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B006J6MO12?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00
Also read some intersting stuff from Clearblue about anovulation - it has some info on pcos & opks (I think it's on the last page) that might be of interest

    Hi all

Clara I went over 3 months with no period. When it did come my period lasted 2 days. This cycle I finally got a positive opk. My doctor thinks it was just my body adjusting after coming off birth control.

Silly question as I don't normally ovulate but is it normal to feel really gassy and burp a lot? I never have fizzy drinks just water / squash. Just weird!

Pink I'm sorry to hear about your father.

    Good luck all.
