cats2012 - That's a good idea. Are these holidays abroad? We've booked a long weekend to the Peak District in April and have said if we still haven't conceived by May we might book up a holiday abroad. I think by then we could really do with one!

Yes 1 is abroad, but only 1.5 hour flight. I know loads of women who have flown whilst pregnant, and the main guidance is around being comfortable if you miscarry but even if I got my BFP next time around I would only be around 5-6 weeks when we go so not alot anyone could do, if it happens it happens.

We also have a hol abroad end of this month sounds like i'm loaded but I can assure you we're not we do things very cheap and cheerful and are lucky enough to be near and airport with super cheap European flights!

We're heading to Rome in a couple of weeks :j Tbh, I can't wait, it sometimes feels like ttc is all I thing think about, & I've had a pretty stressful few months at work & with family illness, so the chance to kick back & relax will be very welcome.

Thanks for all the replies regarding ovulation testing. Totally confusing me. I did one on CD6 and the line was fainter than the control line, but each one I have done since has been fainter and fainter, not darker and darker?? So I give up with them! I'm confused! Also today I had quite a thick, very clear discharge (sorry if tmi). Does this sound like ovulation?

Apple what cycle day are you on? Fertile CM looks like egg white and stretches between your fingers.

As for OPKs it's definitely fine if they get lighter, mine do all sorts, but the main thing is having a dark line when you get OV surge. Your have LH hormone present the whole time so it can fluctuate depending on all sorts, like how diluted your urine is, the dark line is all that matters.

Well I went and got my legs etc waxed tonight, so I've finally "got my sexy back". Just need to remove the sticky bits of wax from my legs and I'm good to dtd. lol

I'm so sorry to hear your news mouse. I had a missed miscarriage a few days before my 12 week scan in December and am just getting my groove back too. Fingers crossed for you and welcome back - hope its a short stay! Xx

Thank you everyone for your help and support CD72 today still no sign of AF
It seems like every time I go to the docs every problem I have is because I'm overweight. I know I am and I know I need to loose weight and it will help. Although it does make me wonder these people that are A LOT bigger than me still get pregnant

Think I am going to give up with OPK's as apparently my LH level was elevated when I had my blood tested so will probably get a false positive and don't want to get my hopes up too much.

Alex - I know the feeling, we need something to keep our minds off it too. We've decided we're going to decorate the house and have booked a holiday with my mum and dad in June which is abroad but would be fine to fly if I was preggo plus if my cycles were normal I would be OV around the time we go out.
