Thanks :-) I hope so too. I just hope I don't get fobbed off tomorrow with a bleeding is natural blah blah blah either.

I have thought about it quite a bit actually, I would have had a Christmas baby and therefore would have just snuck under the 2015 wire and would have been just before my 36th birthday, at our first Christmas in the new house etc. I'm now going to be 36 (at least) as a first timer which is quite upsetting, and I was kinda hoping for a birth somewhere between September - January, which now means delaying even further. Basically all my plans have gone to !!!!. I'm mostly scared that it's not going to happen at all.

So yeah, you're not the only over thinker Elles!

    Huge congrats to Rambosmum!!!!!

Welcome vampiric addiction (love the user name!) and dinky dragon. Hope you aren't here for very long!

Black ribboner, big fat hugs to you.

Good luck kellykins. Really hoping this works for you. You have been so fab on this board!:T

JoBatch80. I am a strong believer in that we know our own bodies much better than a doctor who has seen us for 10 minutes. When something is wrong, you just know. I really do hope that the outcome is not what you expect and they can get to the bottom of this. The feeling of finishing the degree is like no other, just a huge weight off the shoulders. Just dont do what I did, and jump straight into a MsC, I enjoyed it but it was hard work on the back of 6 years of near full time study and work! Glad those days are past me now.

Another post as I wanted to catch up with everyone first. I did 6000 IC tests last night and this morning and caved in and did a CB digi.

    Pregnant 1-2 weeks this morning!!!!!!!!!!!

Still 100% sure AF will arrive today or tomorrow so not going to trust it until I see 3+ on the other digi I have in a week or so. Told OH, we are happy but very very cautious and so are not getting our hopes up and are being very pragmatic. What will be will be.

I'll lurk on this board for a week or so then move over if you ladies don't mind.

Not getting my hopes up. I would be 3+5 today. Just had the tiniest tiniest bit of spotting so I think AF might still be on the way :(

    Congratulations Rambosmum!

May is definitely looking like a good month!

Fingers crossed DevilDolly - spotting doesn't necessarily mean AF, hope its a sticky bean!

JoBatch I hope things do settle down for you soon, sounds like you really have been through the mill

Goodluck Kellykins - I don't know much about the procedure you are having but sounds like something to help ovulation? Hope it works for you!

Welcome to the newbies, as others have said, hopefully your stay isn't long. But whichever way it goes for you, I can assure you that everyone is very supportive here. It has been v helpful and reassuring for me to be part of this thread.

Yesterday was feeling ugh and thought AF would arrive today, not here yet but I am sure it will be given the symptoms I am having (also BFN this morning).

JoBatch, your story is heartbreaking. Your body is making you jump through some pretty terrifying hoops, none of which you could have predicted. I really want things to go well for you!

Devildolly, don't give up yet! Maybe it was piles or something equally grim? Apparently they're quite common.

Welcome to all the newbies. This is the place to be for divulging all those gory stories you can't tell your IRL friends, unless they too have a fetish about CM

Could someone explain to me what all the numbers are for? What does 3+5 mean exactly?

Cuilean, I was thinking the same about the numbers, no idea!

My birthday is on the 29th, which will be 3 days after estimated period start. I'm planning to test then, so I'll either have a great birthday or a bad one!
