So did two ic and they were very very feint. I'll leave it a couple more days as I don't want to get my hopes up constantly testing.
  • Congratulations Rambosmum! Really hope it's a sticky bean, wishing you a very happy and healthy nine months :j

Devildolly, everything crossed that line keeps getting darker and this one sticks :)

Welcome Vampiric Addiction! Hope your fiance's meds calm down soon, that doesn't sound much fun.

Flutterby, so sorry to hear of AF. It's always a bit of a blow, especially when it teases by being late. This is a safe place to rant and let off steam - we're all going through it, so there's plenty of sympathetic ears x

Afm, waiting to see if ewcm yesterday means anything or just a false alarm. Opks are negative so far, but only internet cheapies and my first time using them, so not sure how much trust I can place in them. Really hope this bumper fertile month of May will rub off on me too! :D

So many BFPs and we're not even half way through the month! :T Big congrats to everyone with BFP or suspected BFPs.

Commiserations to those with AF. Hopefully the next OPK+ will be along for you soon.

CD18 here, and I'm doing the 2WW, but I'm not hopeful. DH promises me that work will be less manic next month, and he'll be more "able". I also discovered at the weekend that I've lost enough weight to go down a dress size, so I've consoled myself by ordering some new clothes on the hubby's credit card. Just a few carefully chosen pieces, you understand. They'll only need a medium sized lorry to delivery them ;)

    Hello everyone!

Can I join you all? Ive been a lurker for months (which sounds a lot creepier when written down than in my head...) and I think you're all such lovely ladies...I really (truly) hope you get your BFP's soon.

Me and my fiancee are trying for #1. I have a 6yo little girl from a previous relationship so it's our first together. So far Ive tried OPK's (never ever managed a positive!) but ive ordered a basal thermometer so ill give that a go.

At the moment im very VERY excited, and its consuming all of my thoughts but im aware that im going to feel incredibly deflated if it doesnt happen immediately (this is month one!) as im very impatient!

  • Welcome dinky_dragon! Hope you're not here for long :)

I'm back to creamy cm today, so looking like yesterday was just an estrogen surge rather than a sign of imminent ovulation. Am back to waiting (im)patiently for that egg release and have had another wave of sadness - seven months in, I really did think I'd be pregnant by now. Baby and pregnancy announcements are everywhere and I'm still stuck in place, trying to work out how to get my ovaries working properly.

I know there are people much worse off, women who've been trying longer and the best thing I could do is try not to think about it too much, but sometimes it just really gets me down. We so want children and it's just not happening for us.

Big sigh. . . And enough self pity, back to work!

Black Ribboner, I know how you feel about pregnancy announcements. 75% of people on Facebook are pregnant/new parents atm so I've stopped visiting.

My mum text me today to tell me I'm invited to my cousin's baby shower. I didn't even know she was pregnant.
