Black Ribboner, I know how you feel about pregnancy announcements. 75% of people on Facebook are pregnant/new parents atm so I've stopped visiting.

Ditto this. I've "muted" so many friends because it felt like I was viewing their baby albums. Everything from the first scans to today's graphic description from one overdue friend about her sweep. Massive overshare

At this rate, the dog is going to get pregnant before me, and we've had her spayed :rotfl:

Wow so many announcements. Congratulations to all - wishing you a healthy and happy 9 months.

Welcome to all the new TTCs - hope you are not here long.

Just waiting now. AF is due on Friday. I don't have any tests in to prevent me from testing. I tested last month and AF arrived within an hour of the negative test. I can't do that to us again.

:rotfl: I know exactly what you mean. It only gets slightly less annoying when you're pregnant, you know! It's almost like the annoyances is embedded in your mind so it will always irritate you!

I'm not putting anything announcing it on Facebook, I'm opting for a random status that alludes to it when I'm about 16 weeks that'll make people go "...wait, what?!"

I have a scan on 23rd May and I'm excited yet scared that it'll show a miscarriage. I'm going mad as I haven't been sick yet and wondering what's happening! Never thought I'd wish for it!

Good luck Kellykins, I really hope everything goes well for you. Thanks for taking me off the lists a few weeks ago too. Xx

I thought this was going to be a quick update but turns out it's not so apologies for this! I'm still having blood tests for my bHCG to go back down to zero after the EP, last week was 55 so this week will be the last one I suspect. THANK GOD, every time I go there I'm terrified because there's two vampire nurses, one is great, the other is a ham fisted cow who literally cannot hit a vein, needs several goes and wiggles the needles around which creeps me out, hurts, and makes me cry when I leave! It sounds mental but the vibration of the needle through the skin is horrendous, I don't know how she does it!

I'm beginning to accept what's happened, there's been some really hard moments though, particularly the feeling of having been robbed of the excitement - the next BFP means lots of blood tests, early scans, and being labelled 'high risk'; as well as the actual pain and sickness itself.

My ovarian cyst has randomly burst a further two times, (fortunately; less painfully) so I'm back in the doctors tomorrow to insist upon some further urgent scans etc as I'm quite concerned I'm actually slowly haemorrhaging to death aswell. There's only so much bleeding one woman can take before it all starts to get a bit much. I'm sorry if TMI, but you know menstrual blood from other types and this ain't AF. I'm hoping that this isn't serious, but in my heart I think I know that it might actually be. I sort of just know that my right ovary is in major distress and might end up needing removing.

Oh well. We've now exchanged on our house and the dates coincide perfectly 3 months after the EP so we can start trying again when we move into our new place; and I've got two weeks to go till the end of my OU course, so I should go be graduating soon too.

Anyway, thanks for letting me talk! Xx

    Thanks for all the congratulations.

Good luck for the scan Kellykins.

Sorry to hear what you are going through jobatch. I really hope that the drs get it sorted soon and it isn't anything too serious.

I'm going to wish you all sticky baby dust and move myself over to the other forum, and in the nicest possible way I hope I won't be back for a few years and when I am that all you have what you're wishing for.

    Take care.x

Hi Jobatch, sorry to hear you have still been having medical issues... I can only imagine how hard it has been. Really hoping things get better from here on. Xx

Kellykins hope everything goes well for you tomorrow xxx

I have hidden so many people on Facebook it's unreal... One person announced last year that they were going to have a 2015 baby... And they are!!! I wish it were that easy!!!

Has anyone else had to come to terms with the fact it won't be this year now? I know the year is only a number... But as from last year, I had it in my head that I would be off by Christmas and there would be a little someone extra. I even had a little stress as we would be with the in laws for the day and I was thinking I would want my parents to be part of that first Christmas... Wow I really do overthink!!!!!

    Hugs to all xxx
