Thanks you ladies for all your comments. It means a lot. No more spotting and cramps have eased a little. I will feel better once the weekend comes and goes I think.
I OV early this month (luckily I was doing OPKS from CD10) around CD11-12, so I think I am somewhere like 14-15DPO now. This means we BD O-3 and O+1 and got a low score for timing on FF...but it seems to have worked....so don't count yourself out if you think you didn't time DTD.
On the numbers...it took me ages to learn what all the abbreviations meant....but think of it all as a sort of second language now
Good luck black ribboner and everyone else, fingers crossed.
I was thinking about you ladies last night and then thought to myself how strange it would be to have to explain to someone that I am hoping that women who I only know by username are having lots of sex and getting positive OPKs....:):):)0 -
Hi ladies, can someone help me with BBT? I bought a thermometer, but I'm really not sure what I'm supposed to be looking out for. I have no idea if I've ovulated yet this month as we've been taking it pretty laid back and I was doing the cheapie opks wrong for the first half of the month anyway. I've only recorded today's and yesterday's. I'm not overly confident this month, but can someone tell me for next cycle (a) what I'm supposed to be looking for, (b) whether I start tempting at CD1 or in the 2WW?
Thanks ladies, hope you're all well.0 -

Have had the tiniest bit of ewcm again today and nagging backache all afternoon - which is probably just backache, but my gosh it's hard not to overthink these things!
Hi Black ribboner, are you not being monitored for ovulation with ultra sound scans, if you are taking clomid?I find it so annoying that depending on where you live in the country, depends on what sort of treatment you receive. I had scans on CD11, CD13 and CD16 last month, ended up having the HCG trigger injection on CD16 then bloods a week later. This month i didnt have my scan until CD16 (yesterday) and received the trigger shot injection. I have one follicle this month measuring 19mm yesterday, so hopefully its grown a little over night and become a little more juicy and a bit of a bigger target! :rotfl: going for 5 nights of BD now - lets see how that pans out!
Congratulations devildolly! wishing you a very sticky bean!

Aileth, have you got a FF account? You can log your temp readings on there and it'll tell you when the temperature spike indicates ovulation. There's also a little training "game" where they show you random charts of other people's temperatures, and which day they ovulated on, based on temp data.
Devildolly, I have thought the same thing. I will randomly tell my husband that "someone I know" has got a BFP, and how pleased I am for them. This probably seems very odd to him, as we've not long lived here and I haven't really made any friends yet, yet alone ones who are also TTC. He probably thinks I'm making up imaginary friends © Cuilean 2005. Any connection between your reality and mine is purely coincidental.0 -

No, I don't
Is it like Ovia?
Not sure TBH as I've never had Ovia, but you can log your data on it. It's quite scientific and data driven, but you just give it the data you want and it still makes a prediction. I don't temp, but I log my fertility monitor data on it, and it's been pretty accurate so far. Here's an example of someone else's chart with their temp data. Thanks a lot, Cuilean. I've downloaded it. Looks pretty intimidating but a lot more indepth!
Edit: I've put all my data in and it seems to think I ovulated two days ago. I've had lots of EWCM over the past few days, but my opks haven't shown anything, so who knows at this point!0 -
Kellykins, I'm not having any scans or secondary medication - despite the positive diagnosis of PCOS and anovulatory cycles, my GP didn't want to know and said we wouldn't get any tests or support until 2 years after my miscarriage - because although I miscarried within a few days, I did conceive, so everything's fine, right? I went to a private doctor for the Clomid and unfortunately they don't offer the extra support, but have told me to use opks to track. Because I do ovulate sometimes, I'm hoping this will be the extra little push to get a guaranteed egg at earlier than CD26, because I do think there might be something to later ovulation making miscarriage more likely.
Hoping it works out for both of us, everything crossed for you this cycle
Aileth, I've found fertility friend to be pretty accurate. I had ewcm after my possible ovulation date last cycle, it can happen if estrogen surges when building up uterus lining. Some people reckon it's a sign of pregnancy, but I'd take that with a pinch of salt
Devildolly, all sounds goodHope you have a lovely weekend and can relax a bit next week.
