Well, EWCM has totally gone now, after pretty much (TMI) drowning in it all week, had a bit of it this morning and now I'm like the Sahara, so I think I must've ovulated at some point, although I'm not convinced as my opks gave nothing away!0

The last 2 cycles the OPKs have given me nothing but I had 2 days of EWCM then 'gluey' cm then a day of EWCM, I was also more 'in the mood' over that few days. I don't think the OPKs are fool proof. I certainly wouldn't assume you haven't OV. I really hope your cycle gets some kind of routine soon.0 -
I'm considering picking up some cheap pregnancy tests online as I have a sneaking suspicion I may go through a few during this journey - any recommendations? On the up

A lot of us use internet cheapies for everything. Either from eBay or Amazon. I used Amazon last time, and these are the ones I got:
Ovulation test strips £2.95 for 20
Pregnancy Test Kits 10 for £1.95
If you're going to be testing a lot, you'll kill your bank balance spending £10 a go on Clearblue and the other big name brands.© Cuilean 2005. Any connection between your reality and mine is purely coincidental.0 -
Super drug have great sensitive tests which are normally on multi-buy, a lot cheaper than clearblue. The only clearblue thing I'd buy is the digi test.0

So AF is due today. Got all the normal signs so just waiting. Spoke to DH last night about it all and agreed that we were silly expecting it immediately, we've always had to wait for everything else in life so this shouldn't be any different. We're just going to enjoy our time together and see what happens
Something positive when waiting for AF to actually make an appearance.
Hope everyone else is well0 -
That's a sensible attitude to have, MovingUp. I wish I had your patience. If you could bottle it up and sell it on eBay, I'm pretty sure we'd all bite your hand off for it
According to CountdownToPregnancy, tomorrow is the earliest I can do a test. Like I said before though, I'm not overly hopeful thanks to DH being too exhausted to BD on the peak days. There is a shedload of mucus in my system, but unfortunately it's hay fever related © Cuilean 2005. Any connection between your reality and mine is purely coincidental.0 -
Ok so CD15 today so I think that is me in the TWW now? BDing on CD7 CD9 CD11 & CD14 with app showing ov CD14, might have 1 more go tonight for luck.
I have my internet cheapies waiting ready, not sure how I am going to manage waiting 2 weeks!! hopefully it will go quickly, we are moving house next weekend and the weekend after guide camp.
Just going to try and not think about it so i might not keep up with the thread and will catch you all in a couple of weeks.
Good luck all:T0 -

Hahaha same here! Ovia has cold/flu on the symptoms page. I stopped entering it as I had cold/flu symptoms every day thanks to hayfever :rotfl:
I think I ovulated CD23. BD on CD6, 9, 14, 19, 22 and this morning CD 25, a fair bit more than last month, although I think OH is really at his limits (and perhaps over them). Not feeling hugely confident, but hey if Rambosmum can get a BFP off once then there's still hope :rotfl:0 -

Thanks very much. My "plan" at this point is to test with basic internet cheapies then if a BFP looks likely, invest in a good un on that occasion!
ETA - I've done some reading online (oh, isn't that always the start of a great sentence...) and I've managed to convince myself that I have no chance of getting pregnant. It's ridiculous, as we've barely started to "try" yet so it's not based on experience, but just looking at stuff around weight and as I'm big :S I know the obvious answer is to simply lose some weight - but it's not that simple. It's going to be something to work on but I suppose I'm feeling like it's looking like an insurmountable obstacleOn the up
