    I'm sorry, I can't see your pic, Pixie. :(
Are you using the bb code on Flickr?

  • could you possibly have another look for me? :) I have (I think) got the BB code.

    I can see pics...

I have made 2 faux doris. One was too small and one may need to be trimmed a little smaller... But i'm pleased with the second.
The first will go in the bin - I'm being brutal...

I will at some point need to make an a5 one - this one is a little small... But have uni work to crack on with - will mean it has to wait for a bit... AAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH I recognise this is an avoidance technique - but I want to craft...

I have made 9 inserts for it...

So 11 to add the the total (i've lost count anyway haha). And I finished the three closures on the other junk journals.

    1. Plans moving forward - A6 Faux dori.
    2. Inserts for it
    3. Pink slouchy jumper - when I get the chance...
    4. Autumn bunting - a carry over from last year...

Made another 12 inserts. They're using up a load of pastel paper and squared paper.

I'm binding the inserts with some old leather cord that I need to use up.

May need to buy some card to cover them at some point. I'm planning to stock a craft dater with them. I think.

    Stashbuster - 2014 98/100 - 2015 175/200 - 2016 501 / 500 2017 - 200 / 500 2018 3 / 500

My a6 faux Dori that was a little large is now perfectly sized. Found a notebook that filled the extra space.
I have made an extra 4 inserts for it. One is a to do list and three are grided paper.
Each has a book plate on the front and has used up some die cuts as well as the papers etc in side.
Need to focus on assignment number 2 now.

    Stashbuster - 2014 98/100 - 2015 175/200 - 2016 501 / 500 2017 - 200 / 500 2018 3 / 500

  • Not exactly "making" something but stashbusting nonetheless, tonight I have spent a happy couple of hours going through all my craft magazines, cutting out the things I want to do or which inspire me and pasting them into a scrapbook that I already had. The mostly intact magazines will go to a friend tomorrow, they are all tied up with string ready :T An empty filebox on my shelf :T Just have to be MSE and make sure I don't buy more to replace them  :rotfl:

    Great work going on, everyone.

Pixie, I can see your pics now on your Flickr page. To show them in your post, choose your pic in Flickr, then look over to the right, click on the bendy share arrow, click BBCode then choose the size you want (i've picked medium 500x283), copy what is shown in the box and paste in your post. The link will have "url" at the start.

If I'd done these last year they wouldn't have been made from stash as I bought the stuff for them and didn't get them done, lol. As the stuff has now been clogging up a cupboard for over a year, I'm declaring it stashbusting!

    That's beautiful, pixie.

  • Have now made 15 Christmas cards, using:

    • 6 whole skeins of embroidery thread and lots of skeins started
    • 1 1/2 pieces of Aida fabric 14" x 14"
    • 15 card blanks
    • 8 sheets of craft paper
Really pleased to see my stash reducing a little bit now. It'll be nice to try some of the other crafts that I've got materials for, once it's shrunk a bit more.:T
