On a roll!
I made card for DGD's 4th birthday in November. Had the topper pack for years and also the embossing folder (which I'd never used, lol). Finished off the topper pack, used up some cardstock as well as using up cards and envelopes (and glue, of course).more cards by Bobbie Doctor, on Flickr
Planning to get on to some sewing next. I'll keep you posted.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
Cracking on with using up my stash. Just need to buy some iron-on interfacing to back it, plus a glue stick (we've finally run out!), and I'll be producing 6 Christmas cards, using cross stitch and paper craft. Hopefully will be done by the end of the weekend.3-6 month EF Challenge Member #19: £3590/£6000.[/B] Craft destash from 22.5.22: 46/200. Still plugging away here, made six christmas cards and did some journal pages0
-
I have made four junk journals and used up one whole leather hide.
Managed to use up some random paper - although not whole packs and have made a Christmas junk journal for me.
I tried to use some rub ons that someone gave me but they were so hard to get off I just ended up sticking them in the bin. Felt a bit bad but they weren't worth the ten minutes each they were taking...
I now need to think what I can do with masses of orange and yellow paper.... The packs had yellow orange blue and green in them. The green works well for Christmas. The blue is just generally nice. So will soon be left with just the truely unloved bits of those packs.
I need to make fasteners for them all yet. But have started one - plaited some leather cord and chosen a button. I even intend adding some beads to it - this is for a work colleague as she is planning to travel for 3 months in America.
No idea what the others are for. Probably will be stuck in a Christmas stocking along the way.
Will declare 3 for now - leather hide used and two sets of rub ins thrown out.
Once the closures are finished I'll add the junk journals.

Could you use the Orange and yellow for autumn or spring crafts or journals?0

9 Christmas cards completed using cross-stitch and papers. I only needed to buy glue and iron-on interfacing, at a total of £3.70 with loads left. Everything else came from my stash - not that it's even made a dent! DS found some of my Christmas papers in his room, so I can crack on with a few more cards now.:)3-6 month EF Challenge Member #19: £3590/£6000.[/B] Craft destash from 22.5.22: 46/200. Completed one fastener. Used up some beads. It looks lovely.
I like the idea of an Autumn journal or two. That will help. I need to get some red paper as they looked good as rainbow journals too.
I'm focusing on uni work at the minute so been a bit slack on the crafting front.
I will crack on but probably missed the boat for Autumn crafts this time round. Hand in is 7th December so may manage a little something for Christmas.
Certainly hope so. Haha

Three more cross-stitch/papercraft Christmas cards completed, totalling 12 in all. Need to get a wriggle on now. Starting to notice a (very) small reduction in my card/papercraft stash! Reducing my embroidery silks and fabrics is another matter...3-6 month EF Challenge Member #19: £3590/£6000.[/B] Craft destash from 22.5.22: 46/200. Yesterday I made seven Christmas cards which were asked for by my friend, but she collected them before I could get a photo.
I am starting to have to buy things now in order to make existing stash "work", iyswim. (e.g. card the right colour to layer with decoupage from stash) However the seven cards were all made without having to buy anything new0 -
Back at last! I've still not adjusted to changes in my routine.
Like Pixie, I sometimes have to buy stuff to use up what I've got. However, this time I fell for some glow in the dark Hallowe'en fabric and I had to make a quilt from it! I also bought range fleece to back it (cheaper than buying cotton and wadding). I had some orange cotton left over from something else, so I used that in the quilt top and for the binding. I had a very little Hallowe'en fabric left over and quite a lot of fleece, so I stashbusted that into a cushion cover. The pic shows the teeny weeny bit of Hallowe'en fabric I have left now - can't think what to do with that! Maybe keep for another quilt, lol.Hallowe'en quilt by Bobbie Doctor, on Flickr
