Evening all, actually morning all (making this super quick so I can go to sleep!).
Had family to visit on Sunday which spurred me on a bit to get rid of some stuff. The rest of the carp was shoved in the room of doom (to be said in a Private Frazer style Scottish accent), aka the spare room. Which will have to be inhabited in March so needs sorting!
After I'd moved the detritus from the lounge/hall in there I wondered how it had all fit before when I had even more stuff. Yikes.
Anyhow, this weekend's declutters
110. Carrier bag of tupperware returned to Mum
111. Plant pot returned to Mum
112-9. 8 carrier bags of rubbish in bin.
120. Pair of shoes - bin
121. Carrier bag of recyclables taken down to bin.
I really struggled with the shoes (they're Navy blue patent style flats with a really pretty blue and white polka dot ribbon that tied in the front as a bow). I was trying to justify why I should keep them as I've replaced them with a new pair of low heeled navy shoes which I love. Eventually I convinced myself that they were badly scuffed, and that the fact they have a hole in the sole means they are certainly not suitable in the cold and rain!
I need to photograph a bookcase and a console table for Ebay. Both have served a good purpose but the bookcase has been replaced and the console table isn't very practical (too wide) and is also too dark.
Happy decluttering y'all. Oh, and welcome to the new folk - it's never too late to join in"Does it spark joy?" - Marie Kondo

181. Paper recycling out to bin.
182. Bananas used up to make almond milk smoothie.
183. The dogs have destroyed another pen. Binned. I have cleared my DH's desk of any little items as the cats keep knocking things over and onto the floor and it's driving me round the bend.
184. I'm getting groceries delivered so I will be using up all the leftover vegetables to make a stir fry and a veg chilli to be eaten over the next couple of days.
185. Another old photo ripped up. I have put all the photos in a clear plastic file in a box with some other documents to make space.
186. I went through a box with random things like x-mas lights, an old mobile and charger and boxed them up. I had my sunglasses in there so I put them in a small clear box in with the rest of my clothes in the wardrobe.
I found a little thing?! I think it is something you would use to clip your mobile to something? Binned.:pHOUSE MOVE FUND £16,000/ £19,000

115K, I think the cats and dogs are conspiring
The cats knock stuff off the desk to distract the dogs so they can go and have an undisturbed slumber on the bed/freshly ironed pile of clothing/plant pot.
No decluttering today so far, unless you count the leftovers from the fridge into my lunch bag. I have a bag of glass jars to take to the supermarket - we can't put glass into the communal recycling skips at our flat. I need to shift it to the car."Does it spark joy?" - Marie Kondo

Done a little bit of my bedroom wardrobe. More to look through but a good start. All in a bag which I'll take to the CS tomorrow.
Black jeans (can't remember the last time I wore them)
3/4 trousers (too small)
Walking trousers (not worn in years/not flattering)
Skirt (too small)
4 shirts (too small)
Cord dress (not worn in years/too short)
2 scarfs
Long sleeve top (haven't worn it in ages)
Nightie (too small)
A pack of craft card I had squirreled away.
Some gift card tags.
If nothing else this has made me realise I haven't worn a lot of things in my wardrobe for years and I've put on weight. My wardrobe looks tidier though0
