A misshapen plastic basket binned and the hats & scarves inside rehomed in the designated box that was full of tools and sandpaper.... which are now back in the garage.

    156. Coat hanger binned.

    157. Blob of blue tack binned.

    158. Old photo ripped up.

    159. Some paper into recycling.

    160. Photo frame going to CS. I was going to get rid of another one but I found that I had a picture drawn by an artist at a market so I will find somewhere to hang that later.

    161. I realised I had let a little bit of spinach go out of date so that had to be chucked.

    162. I'm making pizza with the veg I had left in the fridge and some leftover pasta sauce and a few olives.

  • Under my sink, on the back of the cupboard door, I have hung one of those pocket things that normally store shoes. One like this:

I've cut it down to size and keep my bottles of sprays and other stuff in it. One pocket is filled with dishwasher tablets, minus the box. It saves loads of space. The idea came from Pinterest last year.

Love that idea! We currently have 2 small flexitubs of stuff under there, including cleaning stuff, sun lotion, laundry stuff, HW bottles, bird seed etc etc. If I manage to whittle most of it down I will certainly look into that!

Finally managed to get rid of the old vacuum cleaner, it was donated to us, didn't work properly in the end and we have had to Henry replacement for over a year now, had been deposited at the tip.

I wanted it to be joined by a CRT TV that OH brought to the house when we moved in, which had been sat on the spare room floor and not even plugged in since. He was so reluctant to let it go I've persuaded him to take it back to his parents house so it can be used there, as long as it's out of my way I don't care where it goes!

cleared the stationary drawers to discover over 30 highlighters, 190+ pens and pencils not needed (seriously) plus up to 100 dried up pens.

Now have lots of space, managed to rearrange battery chargers where 200 pens used to be and have bagged up good pens for charity and binned dried up ones.

    19. Blender (never used) ditto, dont know why i had 2.
    20. Heap of old paperwork shredded and binned.

Im in awe of people who are doing 7 or more a day now. Its not that I dont have the stuff to chuck, its the time and space to do it. I WILL do 3 items aday this week, until Friday anyway when Im going away for the weekend (I hope)
