Hello *peeks nervously around door*
I'm a lurker, and new declutterer... can I come and play please?
Sorted out my wardrobe at the weekend. Have no idea how many items I got rid off but it amounted to a large bag for the cs and a large binbag of rubbish, so it must have been a decent amount!
Like many, my clutter is hidden away in drawers and cupboards. The house looks tidy if you don't open anything :rotfl:.
Am currently splitting from my OH and he'll be moving out in the next few months (not sure I can count him as clutter), so there's lots of scope for re-organising and a nice new start this year.

Casati - does that mean you sell your magazines on eB@y? What the take up like? I have 12 gardening magazines and lots of card making magazines that I was just going to recycle, but if there's another option.....
Cupcake queen - well done on all your sales.
Hi There,
I sell some - I used to get some quite specialist magazines ( no, not THAT kind of specialist you mucky - minded lot) Don't make much on them after postage & fees but they are quick to list & can be popped in a postbox so the effort / cash ratio is actually OK. Take up is very variable, I do OK on the craft ones. I'd suggest doing a completed items search on the titles you have and see what they are going for, if anything. Make sure to calculate what you'd be paying in fees & postage.
Some more outs:
335 book sold on E of Bay
336 necklace sold on E of Bay
337-339 cleared out the 'birthdays box' Recycled a good w0dge of stuff , tatty ends of gift wrap, some old party invites, some hideous birthday cards. Counting it as 3.
340-354 load of books to the jumble
355 set of measuring spoons to jumble (I seem to have two sets)
356 bag of random nick-nacky flim flam to jumble
357 thimbles to jumble
358 pair knickers recycled
359 pair socks recycled
Going to go do some more fleabay listings now as the telly is on the blink & I anticipate a replacement will soon be needed....2016: No Clutter to Be Seen 805/2016

I've been mooching around and haven't found one thing to declutter apart from the usual recycling out today. Looks like I'm almost there.:)

Interesting, thanks.
I think the next item of clothing I buy will be from an ethical shop and hopefully be of good quality so will last. I'm trying to turn my back on cheap clothes.HOUSE MOVE FUND £16,000/ £19,000

After losing his provisional driving license in a sea of old college paperwork with only 10 minutes to spare before his driving instructor came. My son has come back and sorted and binned a whole carrier bag full of notes and paperwork he no longer needs to keep.
So..... Out:

Yes after piling the lot on his bed. He needed the paper bit of his licence for his theory test which he took today. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Interesting article on donated clothes, I always take mine to a small local charity shop that sells them in store. I won't put in bags that say a percentage is given to the charity as I heard they were sold on making money for non charity groups.
Glad your son found his licence
Not had time to declutter today
Hope all are wellSPC~12 ot 124
