My kitchen is annoying me beyond belief as there isn't any room for everything we have in there. I have started this morning with a basket that had baking supplies in. I managed to recycle a cake board, threw away a whisk, piping bag and recycled the attachments.
I've sorted through the notice board and recycled, thrown away all out dated items.

Well,I have the whole day ahead of me,at home,in the peace and quiet.OH has gone out with 4 noisy children, and I have been looking forward to cracking on with decluttering.Instead I have been procratinating around the forums for the last nearly 2 hours .
Whenever OH goes out for the day with kids,I use the time to blitz the house.I will probably get around to doing the same today, but ontop of that I want to start some real decluttering,ie,getting stuff out of the house. Not just tidying up/putting away what we have.I am just not sure where to start. The house looks awful at the moment anyway, with the contents of 3 bedrooms strewn throughout the rest of the tiny house, but I would like to do get to the end of today and feel like I have really achieved something decluttering-wise thinking.gif.

You can do it, Saver-upper! Start in one corner and do 5 mins of decluttering and you will soon get in the zone. I'm cheering you on from over here! :j

  • 110. Clear Soap and hand cream dispenser binned because let's be honest, who uses the hand lotion? It's just there to look posh!?!

I replaced it with a simple opaque soap dispenser - £1.50 from Wilkos. Now I have an opaque one, I can put all the colourful odds and ends of shower gels and hand washes in there and no-one will see! Money-saving tip there :)

113 - 111. 3 small cushions binned and replaced with one large cushion. It looks so much tidier and cleaner now!

    114. Tealights burned in one night and chucked!

    116 - 115. 2 ebay parcels posted.

Need to contact BHF to see if they will take Lcd telly that's needs free view box. Should free cycle but can't be bothered with sob stories.
Also need to put photos in an album and do a memory box of children's stuff.
Need to go though instruction manuals and recycle for appliances we haven't got anymore.
Death comes to us all. When he came to Mort, he offered him a job. MORT by Terry Pratchett.
  • Afternoon all, I am back for a bit of inspiration; had a little read and sorted my vest drawer. Stuff in there from years ago - no longer a size 10 so out they all go!.
I have bagged up a load of stuff to post on ebay over the coming weeks. Churned out the stuff that I am sure will not sell. I now have a bag of stuff to take to CS. I would like it not to sit in the boot of the car for a week though.
Enjoy the rest of your day, and keep the clutter at bay
