Nothing decluttered today... Well that's unless you can count a manky roll of parcel tape.

    Today's list

    65. Ring - CS
    66. Belt - CS
    67. Belt - bin
    68. 3 necklaces - CS
    69. Bag - daughter
    70. Wooden box - CS
    71. 2 tops - daughter
    72. Apron - daughter
    73. 2 baskets - CS
    74. Envelopes - daughter
    75. 2 nightdresses - CS
    76. 4 books - CS
    77. 2 leaflets - CS

The box and necklaces belonged to my mother. I don't remember her wearing the necklaces so I didn't recall memories when seeing them in my memory box. I decided they could go to the charity shop where someone might like them and want to wear them and necklaces are meant to be worn not kept in a box.

However, I have kept a necklace belonging to my grandmother as I remember her wearing it and also have a portrait of her in which she is wearing it.

:money:Ok no de cluttering for a few days but am hopeful that I will get some done this weekend. Was just catching up on what everyone else had been up to. However someone was talking about magazines and saying they did not buy them anymore. Well I have a top tip here. My local library offers you them for free on your tablet at home.all you have to do is belong to the library which is free. I could not believe it but now I regularly download several a month for free. Read them and then delete them. There are all the big names. I don't even mind if I only read one article because it's free.

Enough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D
  • Please may I join? I really don't know where to start and have stuff everywhere.
Our kitchen is being done next month and were doing it all ourselves. Husband is a tradesman so all trades are being swapped :-)
Wall coming down, new ceilings, complete replastering & electrics. Kitchen is an old solid wood one I've bought which I intend to paint but I digress, to even start any of this stuff needs to go. Where do I start please? I'm swamped by clutter.
    Thank you

You start by decluttering one thing at a time. It doesn't matter how small it is, even a broken paperclip into the bin is a start.

Before you know it one thing will not be enough, and so it progresses.

Crazy busy week at work and juggling everything, but weekend now and DS and DD have gone to their Dad's until Sunday, so while packing their stuff to take, putting through 4 x WM and 4 x TD, doing online food shop with Sainsbugs and general tidy of carnage from the week, I have decluttered:
1 x raincoat, just getting bit too small for DD (cs), 1 x football game never played (cs), plastic thingy for tightening footy boots we no longer have (rc), footy shorts outgrown by DS (cs), very old T-shirt and 4 x pairs past their best footy socks (bin). Not too bad.
Off for a nice bath while I await last load in TD, then off to land of nod.
See you all on the decluttering express tomorrow.

8 ice cream tubs with lids plus 3 lids which don't belong to anything in the bin.
I off-white bra also in the bin
12 junk jewellery necklaces, 4 bracelets and 4 rings in the car boot box
12 photograph frames also in the car boot box
The box my mobile came in 4 years ago and the box my last laptop came in 5 years ago in the rc. No idea why I was keeping them!
