Do any of you know what can be done with unwanted teddy bears?
I really want to recycle them instead of throwing them away. My local charity shops wont take them, and the one that will wants to use them as dog toys
Any ideas? I have a few bags worth to declutter.
 Thanks.
As a matter of interest, why won't your charity shops take them?
Do you have a women's Refuge anywhere near you? Mums with children often arrive there with barely more than the clothes they are wearing. I know from appeals in our local paper that toys and other things for children are often greatly needed.0

            82. Hairbands lost their elastic or half broken - bin
 83. Bottle of conditioner used up recycled (I wouldn't normally count everyday user-uppers but I've got a big toiletry stash so using something up is going to count as long as I don't go buying any more!)
 84. Notebook, used it up - bin/recycled
85 great big bottle of dried up PVA glue - bin
86 Nail files that don't file anymore - bin
 87. Big wodge of proof of postage receipts from ebay stuff, all from 2013. Unlikely to get a chargeback at this stage and I don't really sell anything high value or high risk anyway.
Also threw a load more stuff into the clothes bank bag, will be counted when it's left the house.2016: No Clutter to Be Seen 805/2016

At my local it's often the case of the CE safety label being removed, often they get given three or four great binliners and only one or two are saleable (you should see the state of some of them - almost unrecognisable with filth) That means three and a half binliners have to go in the bin because the rag recyclers won't take them. It only takes two people to bring in donations like that and that's the bins overflowing for the week 2016: No Clutter to Be Seen 805/2016 2016: No Clutter to Be Seen 805/2016

Scrubbed out the bathroom and binned old toiletries no longer used. Boots will accept old medicines, but no needles.0
