Aha! I thought that your name indicated that you LIVED in Wales! Then I thought of 200 miles from there and figured you'd be on my doorstep.

Go you making it a time to remember with hubby :D.

I do. I unfortunately, the complete opposite end to where my interview is. I love South Wales though, cardiff in particular, so am quite pleased to have an excuse to go there again.

Welshkitty we must be neighbours then. Go for it. Good luck.

SOA congratulations glad you had a good day.

Abundant life can throw curve balls at us. At least you have earned DFD sure you will smash it this time.

A sfd to report here. 16 /18. Cleaned car today annual job, something I detest doing perhaps the shouldn't leave it so long, had mould at bottom of windscreen - then again soaking wet and cold paws.

Was going to go veg shopping but as fridge freezer playing up, running it down. Rest of the day dog walking, eating watching all of Tess of the Derbervilles pleased got all my outdoor walking gear dried on the line.

  • Hi all,

Still suffering, worse today with this cough/cold. Got up this morning and scrubbed the kitchen, emptied the fridge, cleaned it all out and washed the shelves, then put the food back in a more organised fashion, making my life much simpler as I can see at a glance what I have got! The answer is not a lot :rotfl:

Dinner tonight was a homemade mediterranean vegetable tomato pasta sauce on gnocchi with a sprinkle of cheese. I barely ate but Jelly did pretty well. I substituted sausage for cheese on hers ;) always a winner.

Today I had grand plans to go shopping and leave Jelly with the neighbour. Yeah it didn't happen. I am too rough. So it is a forced NSD and now I really ought to bake a loaf of bread and somehow scrape through tomorrow without shopping then I can go while Jelly is at nursery on Monday! Have a feeling my jar of nutella is going to get mashed as I really want chocolate and haven't got any!

Am near the limit on my grocery shopping. Going to meal plan while the bread rises. Best hop to it. x

Lilt please look after yourself, will jelly be up for a day of snuggling in bed/on the sofa tomorrow?

Today was a spendy day as went to Ald! With my two vouchers and now the fridge, freezer and cupboards are bursting :) Walked the dogs for exercise and did plenty of chores but no trip to the gym. Need to get better at talking myself into going to the gym.

All monthły spends are now out of the way so time to batten down the hatches and get as many SFDs as possible.

Good luck Welsh kitty and well done on getting the interview:j lilt, hoPE your feeling better soon. Well all is not well! Brace yourselves! At 5am eldest DS was getting the mop to use as a spear! The mouse I could hear, was sitting pretty in his room! He was terrified as was I, so we all camped out in the living room terrified! My daughter who is unfazed by them called us pathetic
, cowering from a mouse:o As soon as homebase was open I went and bought mousetraps and wire wool. I was like a woman possessed :D The little fella found a mini blackboard reduced to 20p as well:D so imagine my anger when after spending an eternity laying down wire wool and son setting traps, the darned mouse strolls out from the wardrobe:mad: well hes gone out,and ive shamefully asked their dad if we can kIP round his tonight! I'm shattered! On Monday we are getting a kitten much to the little fellas delight! So, mouseagate has cost me 36 pounds so far ! A right carry on, lol!

Today I am grateful for a phonecall from dh, for a lovely chat with dd at lumch, for dd spending lots of time reading, for ch shop bargains (my 50p one was 'a Belle sceptre' according to dd - tomorrow we'll try to sort the batteries out and see if it could be a contemder!), for a concert dd put on for me.

I've been rubbish at updating with my progress but I'm keeping up with this thread :)
12 NSD's so far and generally successful challenge, however, had chip-shop-chips last night which was not planned for!

    Today I am grateful for;

    1.) my intrinsic motivation
2.) my lovel family, who I am missing terribly, even though I see them most weekends and only live a 25 minute drive away. I'd love to live on the same street as them like most of my family used to do when I was growing up.
3.) the unconditional love of my dogs

  • Calling I wonder if we are neighbours? I always imagine everybody on here to be miles away from me.

    Lilt look after yourself.

Had a good tidy up and clear out this morning. All beds changed, my study is looking spotless and lots of items to sell when I get round to it.

Lunch out today as planned. Splashed out on the 3 course meal and with our voucher only had to put another £10 on top. Was lovely to treat the little ones and spend some quality time with them. I'm a bit behind now on my assignment but it was worth it and I will just have to burn the midnight oil tomorrow and Monday night.

Only have £25 left in this months shopping budget and to be honest I don't need much. But, I have another voucher for £5 off £40 spend which has to be used by Thursday. So I am tempted to borrow some cash from next months budget to buy what I will need in advance to get the saving.

I am working tomorrow and am about to prep my lunch before heading to bed.

    Today I am grateful for
Getting an interview for my dream job
Lovely lunch out and quality time with DH and children
A lovely clean bed to get into tonight
