Bought a lovely Noa Noa purple knitted dress in the CS £4.00. I love wearing dresses as they make life simple - only have to think of one thing
.
All this talk of grey is reminding me that I have a number of nice grey items in my wardrobe that have been neglected... time for them to make an appearance...Shifting my energy for 20200 -
I love grey - its the one colour I prob have too much of but I find it so easy to wear
So, confession time - I went shopping on Sunday and bought shoes...two pairs...same style different coloursNo I didn't need them but I liked them, and they weren't expensive. I also got some jeans (again not expensive) but they might go back - just couldn't be bothered to try them on at the time.
On the upside, I am returning a suitcase I ordered online which I saw in store on Sun and didn't particularly like when I saw it, plus it was much smaller than I expected (more a small hold size than med as advertised - I hadn't checked my delivery at that point) so the refund for that will make my monthly budget look a bit betterFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Bought a lovely White Stuff dress off the pound rail in the CS & a much needed simple black cardi £1.99 - this has actually saved me money as I'd treated myself to one using a gift card in TK Maxx for £29.99 which I can now return - so increasing my total by 2.99 rather than rather than £31.99 :jShifting my energy for 20200

Black long sleeved top - £1.00 CS - one of those wardrobe staples.
I've been taking loads of stuff to the CS recently - I had lots of clothes with decent labels that I was going to sell on eBay but I make very hard work of eBay selling so decided not to do it (at least not for clothes). They all came from CS originally so it feels like a virtuous circle.

Plus I'm losing weight, thanks to the walk to/from work for the last 10 weeks (8 mile round trip, normally 4 times a week). I've lost 19.8lb so far this year, with 7.2lb of that since the start of September. So I don't want to be spending on things that are fast going to become too big for me - especially as I'm starting a new job on 9th November which will see me walking 8 miles a day as part of the job (delivery person for RM), and (hopefully) eventually also the 13 miles a day commute.
I don't really need to buy as the weight comes off though - I just need to revist my wardrobe. I'm currently about 1.5 stone (and 2 dress sizes) up on where I was just 4 years ago, and I still have the clothes I wore then (as well as those since as the weight started to slide back on).
That said, I did spend on two woolly hats to wear in my new job. So that's a £6.13 spend for the month, taking me up to £71.11 for the year to date.Cheryl0 -
Well done on your incredibly low spend and the weightloss cw18 :T - I lost nearly 3 stone a few years ago (& kept it off) - it's lovely to get back into your smaller items again isn't it - like gaining a new wardrobe for free. Eventually I got smaller than the smallest item I owned and managed to kit myself out almost entirely from Charity Shops. Unfortunately I let that excuse run & run - hence trying to rein myself in with this challenge... :rotfl:Shifting my energy for 20200
