I had a little spend today. Lovely blue and cream white stuff top, new with label still attached -£4.20 and long open knit lightweight cardi in a soft pale teal/green by Sandwich for £6 in CS. Will both be nice for work now it's getting a bit chilly.
Somerandom your boots and new purchases sound fab. Just what you need for Autumn.
Well done to those of you resisting temptation :TCrazy clothes challenge 2017 - 30/3000 -
Hmmm, so you recall those bikinis I bought the other week - I've finally tried them on;
- #1 - ok, but deff not much material and I'm not sure I trust people with tie at the side bottoms
- #2 - I like, but quite small on the derrier area, I don't want a bikini wedgie on the sunbed
- #3 - size up from my normal size but I liked the colour. Bottoms fit fine, top is ok but I'm not sure it doesn't make my 'assets' look somewhat larger than they are.
Although #3 is a size up from normal, I measured it against an existing bikini and it seems to actually measure the same.
However, I'm having a weight 'moment' this week after trying on some jeans I used to wear a lot and I can't get them done up, and don't mention the ones I can't get fully up
Now I know in my head 3 1/2 yrs of serious exercise has resulted in muscle - I can see it across my back and stomach - plus my friend said I did go through a phase of being overly thin, but my heart is still wavering over 'OMG I can't get those jeans up, I know everything seems relatively firm and exercise builds muscle, but what if I'm actually getting fat':o So I'm finding it hard to consider keeping something that's +1 size to my 'normal' (despite the fact I also have two vests from the same place two sizes down from that)

Update for August
£8 worth of much needed socks from M & S - when I got them home I didn't think the quality was that great.
So I'm on £258 out of £150 budget.

I asked OH if #3 made my 'assets' (which in general are about as generous as an ISA saving rate :rotfl:) look big - he looked a bit worried, one of those 'OMG, what's the right answer to the question' type look, but said it looked nice on. So I kept #3 - a bikini for the princely sum of £3.
#1 & #2 went back, picked up some leggings in a size larger than I have, just because I'm going through a 'phase' - and they are too big round my ankles, so they need to go back.
Tried the Sainsbugs TU leggings too - really comfy and feel well made to just sit too high on my waistI hate my belly button getting squished

Well done Kerri for sending them back
You wouldnt like the Spanx leggings either then as they also sit high on the waist
What about Top sh*p leggings as I find they sit too low on me so you might like them ?
The other leggings I quite like are M*co if you have a store near you.I do have a few pairs from there which are years old and I tend to wear them under jeans etc when its really cold as they are a bit scuffy now but not gone baggy at all.
Good luck in your search.
Going to one of my fav places today for chazzers:( So will have to keep my eyes firmly shut

Hi Mav, I'll have a look in topshop when I get a chance, my friend also recommended H&M, although she's taller than me so that might account for why they are low on her. I did see some nice Gap leggings online, but they only had XS and I'd like to have tried the S too if I was paying delivery. They were actually maternity ones I think but they were marked as 'sits below the belly' so would've poss been what I was after ....might give OH a scare buying maternity clothes :rotfl:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Morning all. I bought a dress via mail order to go to a wedding yesterday at the bargain sale price of £14.99 plus postage, but some other stuff that I ordered at the same time was no good so spent £2.80 sending it back.
The dress is lovely, the wedding was yesterday, the weather was cold so I ended up wearing something else anyway. Will add £22.78 to my signature as that is what the dress ended up costing.
No more ordering via mail order for me.....until the next time.Spend less now, work less later.0
