Hi Darwinsmum - Yes - I will PM you.Shifting my energy for 20200
-
Hi everyone, I've been MIA for a while - I started my new job five weeks ago - and I love it! And I've been wearing all my new clothes. I did buy a sort of 'capsule wardrobe' - so my tops mostly go with all my bottoms, so it's easy to put things together. I have spent another £98 on a dress and a skirt (both of which for work, which fit into my capsule, and both were half price), and a pair of shoes. I am a half size, with fussy feet, so finding shoes is a bit of a nightmare, plus I am on my feet a lot in my job. I will update my signature with my new total.
I have to look very smart for my job, too, moneyonmymind so it would be very easy to just go mad, and spend!
I need more shoes and some spring/summer workwear, but I am not thinking about that just yet!Enjoying the power and freedom of letting things go.

I've been a hypnotherapist for 10 years and am happy to answer any questions. The CD with the Paul McKenna book 'I can make you thin' is good - there are lots if things I don't like about Paul McKenna but have to admit he is a good hypnotherapist.
He also did a CD some years ago to help with emotional spending.
A bit off topic, but might help someone.Crazy clothes challenge 2017 - 30/3000 -
I caved today and bought a new handbag
. It was reduced and was the colour I was looking for but I didn't need it. It has eaten up a third of my yearly budget I could kick myself. £27 spent.
Debt free as of 29.10.2020 🎉😁

Bought a long waterfall waistcoat off a Ebay but it was a bargain and will pull a few things together in my wardrobe. It's new and from phase eight and was £8 with postage.
I've decided to have a go at using dylon to see if I can colour some jeans. I got them from a cs a while ago and they are a good make but the colouri is soft red. Lovely colour but when I wore them I felt a bit like I was in a marching bandso I've ordered dark brown die to make them (hopefully) go with my chocolate brown fitflop boots I had for Christmas. I will let you know how it goes.

Thanks for the offer to answer questions and info about the Emotional Spending CD. That definitely applies to me- only just realised it.

Hi Everyone
I have been clearing out all the clothes I no longer want and now have 4 bin bags full of my and DHs unwanted stuff :eek:Going to sort the bags out and try and sell some of it as a lot new so will do some bundles and stick on FB as collections onlyThen I will take it off my spends which will please me greatly:)
Rowan Moon I had Pauls Think yourself thin and didn't get on with it at all. But if anyone wants to try it I always see loads in Charity shops for a few £s so dont spend loads on it as thats where mine went
I can now see whats in the wardrobe just about and will get rid of anything now I put on and then think 'I am not wearing that' :rotfl:
I seem to wear gym/running stuff and scruffy around the house stuff more than anything else. So I dont need loads of smart /going out clothes as hardly ever go out anywhere exciting
So a few key pieces on that front I think.
Good luck and keep those eyes shut
Mav x
