I am in. I planned to have a budget of zero, and only spend money that I earn from selling things on ebay, but I have also joined the pay off debts by xmas 2015 challenge, so all money from ebay sales will go towards my car loan.

I will set my budget for this challenge as £300 for the year. I need to declutter my wardrobes, so I can't check what I need yet (I am pretty sure the result will be that I don't need anything!). I hope to be able to stay well within my budget :D

I will be totally honest with what I buy!

Looking forward to a slimmed down wardrobe during 2015 :D

  • Please include me.
I need an incentive to think abut my clothes spending as my weight is fluctuating so much (mostly increasing!) I can't be buying too many as they don't always fit for long!
I have a very full wardrobe that I'm gradually sorting through at the moment.
I'd like to go for a scary £200 for 2015. That's to include any types of clothing that I get.
    Thanks :o
  • Hi everyone,
Firstly thank you fedupandskint for running the challenge again.

Well I didn't spend hardly anything in 2014, but the budget was too strict and I ran out of money in October! So I have already spent my Christmas money icon11.gif but at least it was on needs not wants. New jeans, leggings and a dressing gown.

So for 2015 my new budget is £360
Much more realistic and I'm hoping to include underwear and be under budget.

  • Thanks to Fedupandskint for setting up this thread.

My budget is £150 for the year to include everything!

Thanks fedupandskint for the shiny new challenge!

As I am going shopping for work clothes in just over a week (don't have anything suitable apart from the outfit I cobbled together from the wardrobe for interviews), there will be some big-ish spending going on January, so I will say £600  for 2015. That will include work clothes and shoes, plus all other clothes for the year. I will aim to earn money doing surveys as well, to use towards any purchases.

I need to have a good old clear out of my wardrobe again, which I will do once I have my new stuff for work.

I came in under budget for 2014, let's hope I can do that again :rotfl:

    Hi Fedupandskint,
I would like to join again in 2015.
Challenge helped to focus me and reign my spending in.
My budget includes money for clothes, shoes, coats, underwear in fact all things that we wear. I am hoping to put half of my clothes budget away for savings ( I have joined the 'save 7.5k in a year' challenge which will be very challenging. so my target is £600 for the year with at least 6 months with no spending.
