    I thought so too! :-)
It was a final reduction sale and I had my eye on those things for a while.

MavvyMoo & Sarahlovesshoes - I need to add some context to my post that might make you feel better - I have a second wardrobe with outdoor jackets & coats in the box room, my summer clothes stored in the loft & a chest of drawers for t shirts, tights undies etc . I was just super-pleased with myself just to have got my main wardrobe under control - the clothes were spilling out before my cull. I'm still a long way off of a capsule wardrobe lol

I do have a wardrobe in the spare room with my coats and most of my dresses in as well as some shoes. I share the wardrobe and draws in the main bedroom with OH. am I the only one who doesn't separate clothes between autumn / winter and spring / summer and just keep the same stuff out all year?

Bought a new sports crop top / bra today for the princely sum of £2, shame the leggings weren't also in the sale as I liked the pattern and looked at them a while back. Oh well, not the end of the world.

I have just one double wardrobe. So capsule now I suppose. I used to put winter/summer clothes away but don't need to any more since joining this challenge as all my clothes now fit the one wardrobe all year round, excepting nightwear and gym/swim wear which is in a separate drawer. And obv separate drawers for different types of underwear.
Spend less now, work less later.

Yes that does make me feel a bit better so thanks for that:D
Sarahlovesshoes Yes I think we may have a slight problem :rotfl:But at least we are thinking about it now which has got to be a good thing.
A capsule wardrobe  Wouldn't that be nice but I honestly wouldn't know where to start.
Did make a bit of a start yesterday and cleaned all my kitchen cupboards out :eek: My DH helped and said we haven't had to throw much away have we. When I looked there was 4 bin bags full of junk and stuff we don't need. If only I could be as ruthless with clothes and shoes etc :o

Anyway enough of my waffle am going to start tackling the clothes cull soon

Good luck to all and keep those eyes firmly shut ;)

Really interesting to hear about the extent of other's clothes collections - thanks Kerri gt & Jazee .

Jazee - that is particularly impressive & makes me realise I need a goal. I would love it if my summer clothes didn't have to go up in the loft as it's such a palaver doing the twice yearly change over plus the excursions up there when the weather is unseasonal. But that point feels a long way off so I need to set myself a milestone that moves me a little in that direction.

This challenge is challenging me in so many ways!

My gym stuff does tend to live at the bottom of my wardrobe (in a neat pile). It's expanded a bit over the past few months but I need different clothes for different activites (that's not an excuse, I do boot camp outside and pole fitness inside, obv what I wear for pole might lead to hypothermia at boot camp :rotfl:) I've also added running into the equation to the extent I've needed to get some proper gear (new look leggings not really cutting it :rotfl:) although most of the running stuff is also suitable for boot camp too.

Going to do a bit of batch cooking today and sort out some clothes I think. :A
