I am hoping that a few things I am selling will bring in some extra money plus I don't really NEED anything.....it is the WANTING that I struggle with.....I just love spending money which explains why I have debt!!

So my plan for tomorrow is to go food shopping in Lidl after work as they don't sell clothes and then come home and have an afternoon nap! :-)
I have a cheap evening planned as going over friends and Saturday I am babysitting my lovely niece.
Sunday I think I am going to have a onesie day and bleach my bathroom tiles.....so living the life :-)

Hope everyone has a good weekend :-)
Finally debt free and loving it!
  • I had a really good declutter of my wardrobe today. Result is a bin-liner of clothes for the charity shop & several items for selling. There are still clothes in there that probably could have gone but I decided to hold onto them until Spring to see if I wear them again - if not they will be going off to the charity shop. It's so lovely - I can actually see all my clothes & can move the hangers along the rail!

It's been s spends couple of weeks so far. Bought two tops in the sale from a lovely independent shop on Thursday. Both should initially have been £60 and I'd admired one of them before. Paid £35 so s complete bargain and I love them both!

Decided that I'm not including shoes in my budget if they are replacing worn out ones. I'll only include them if they are 'extra' pairs.

  • Yesterday I spent £39 on a jumpsuit, dress, kimono, harem pants, a black clutch bag and a new purse as the zip on my current one broke!

I did however sell 2 things and made £10 and also donated left over christmas presents to a raffle my friend is organising.
So still under budget for this month but did book last minute holiday going in 5 weeks so will have to pick a few things up for that.

Oh the jumpsuit I have been looking at for ages and waited for it to be reduced and it finally was to £12 the kimono was 80p!! So for my £39 I did get quite a bit xx

Still no spending on clothes in January for me;)

Having a good old sort out this weekend of my wardrobes, it's shoes that are my downfall and I have many still in boxes:o

Sounds like everyone is doing very well indeed.

I also don't count walking gear to replace anything that's is worn out and needs replacing so long as I have saved up for it and it's not an impulsive spend. I also don't count sports wear as that's my main interest, not that I need very much.

I don't count anything I dpend birthday or Christmas money on or vouchers earns from surveys.

All the clothes bought using survey rewards fitted really well and I'm keeping them all.

Still at no depends so far for January, mind you no pennies left to spend so it won't be difficult to get through this month with no spends!

I've put this on as its up to you how you define your budgets and spends, whatever works for you. My main aim is to not spend impulsively.

    Keep on going everyone!

Wow well done you :) This is what I have got to do big time :rotfl:
I would love to be able to move hangers along the rail and would also love to be able to shut drawers rather than fighting with them to cram stuff in :rotfl:
I have 2 wardrobes crammed full of coats and jackets and 2 full of clothes all my spring /summer stuff is packed up in the loft. All of which I tell myself I might wear sometime in the distant future :(
