Well done seebee and treeny - great losses :j

I forgot it's week 2 of the challenge - good luck to everyone for getting a nice loss this week :D
Measure the waist on your old jeans, then your waist on your current ones, that will give you a good idea of inch loss :)

Good idea! Hadn't thought that through. Although the waist is elasticated and may have been under some strain :o

    Good Morning :)

Crabapple when I started I thought about taking a picture , I hate having my pic taken so didn't bother. Now I wish I had taken one side view showing belly and a front view :(

I am hoping I have a loss this week a lb or more :)

I still don't like pictures, but less than I used to! I have a side pic from a few days before I had my son... my waist is looking a whole lot better than then but I don't think it's truly representative of my weight loss :rotfl:

Hope you feel better soon Denise! Sounds rotten!
Well I was good and went to the gym fri and sat and managed to get some housework done. Had a no alcohol weekend but unconscious grazing took place - nothing really bad just mindless eating.
Still feeling bloated and yuck, really hoping to start getting something off this week as I don't feel myself or happy with the weight I've gained.
Gym again tonight and flat belly class.

I discovered a load of Old El Paso casserole mixes in the cupboard, we got them cheap in Heron foods but are really nice. The ingredients is usually chicken, tomatoes, veg, etc. to add and then a small packet of powder.

The whole thing can't have more than a few syns in them, it's mostly just spices. But they're really nice if people fancy a change and something Mexican that isn't wraps with loads of cheese, etc.

We had the chipotle beef one.. OH loved it - i wasn't so keen. It makes a nice change though :D

Some brilliant losses coming through :T:T:T

Denise - hope your feeling a bit better, it's an awful cold that's going round at the moment.

lantanna - well done for getting out to the gym!!

I hate having my photo taken - i've come to the conclusion it's because i get dressed up, put make up on, do my hair, walk out the house feeling lovely and then I see the photos and i just look like a big, fat mess :( they ruin the illusion that i had of myself.

i think it knocks your ocnfidence.. i've been invited out to Afternoon Tea in a few weeks and i know they'll be photos - i'm dreading it already :( Hoping to get my first stone award before i go.

  •:mad: the bloomin gremlins have nicked me post :mad:

In a nutshell I think it was something like -

Well done on amazing losses :T

Hope all the poorlies are feeling much better today :)

Have only tried the Schwartz Curry Sachet and it was very nice. Divided it into three portions and worked out at just over a syn a portion. Going to try the sausage one with either the Sainsbobs lf sausages or wait and try the syn free SW ones when Iceland start doing them.

Got attacked by a lovely WHITE floury bun in W'spoons this morning (synful but tasty) but on the plus side the bacon was very lean, there was only a smidge of 'butter stuff' and just a little squirt of ketchup. Hope to go careful for rest of day. Lunch was omelette and salad with half pear and half apple.

Have had quite an inactive day so far as I have had a load of stuff to do on laptop. I find it makes me feel very lethargic. Got more stuff still to do on it - do I tackle it now or do I blitz the cooker.

Keep up the good work everyone. Better post this quick before the gremlins nick this one too. ;)

  • I also like the Schwartz Curry Sachet, not too hot or spicy, but not too bland either. I'd certainly recommend it.

How come as soon as I'm back on SW all I do is think about food?:(

I have had overnights oats and raspberries for breakfast which was lovely, a coffee mid morning and have homemade SW Turkey and Veg soup heating up for lunch.

I did loads of housework this morning and by 12 I was thinking of food again. Off I went for a 1.5 mile walk at a brisk pace.

Same yesterday. Oatbran and banana for breakfast and a lovely lunch of gammon, SW roasties, carrots and sprouts followed by quark and raspberries and by tea time I was starving again.:(

Daft thing is I don't ever eat between meals so it's not like I'm actually missing out on anything.

This is exactly how I feel! I spent a long time getting ready for DS1's wedding last summer, thought I looked pretty good [considering]. Then when we saw the photos and video, I could have cried! Comforted myself that DS1 and DDIL both looked fab, hopefully no one was looking at me! X
