Flea - TIE is a target member and has tummy issues, she has Ready Brek and other gluten free options so that she remains well.

Rummer - I've checked syns online and it's not on there.. if you want to give us the nutrition info then we can try and work it out. I'd give you the syns of an average slice but it's from anywhere between 3 and 11 syns

Hovis medium sliced, white is 4.5 so you could use that..

Thanks Maisie and CPennies.. I knew some people had joined late but with so many of us it's hard to keep track. I didn't want people to be upset that i'd missed them off the chart when I publish it :o

    Thank you Shala :A
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Well a disappointing food day for me today - I've not been able to eat most of my tea, it's making me gag.. not sure why. I feel sick even thinking about it!! I used the rest of Healthy extras and syns on it.. really annoyed, I hope I can just muddle on until bedtime without needed to eat anything extra.

Fluff - i'd add another HEA just to make sure you're getting your calcium. Calcium helps with weight loss apparently so it won't hurt.

Meg - hope your dinner turned out ok x

    tweets - great losses... :T

Flateric - I've never seen nutracheck before, but it just looks like Myfitnesspal which is free. MFP might be a better choice.

So for the challenge these are the people I am missing weigh ins for this week... let me know if I've missed your result and i'll update it..

Well done to all losers and welcome to all newbies :) and a big welcome back to all returnees - I actually think it takes more guts to return to something than starting it the first time x I'm just a stubborn one who's refused to quit despite being off the sw thing full time since ooooh April 2013 I have weeks on weeks off half weeks on etc bit of a bad cycle but I'll get there eventually
Just need to knock the date nights and treats on the head a bit and make a return to the gym to get some more exercise in really.

This weeks been a mixed one really most meals on plan but too many added extras.

    Weigh in in the morning

Have the added motivation of me and the boy are booking a few nights break away in May in a log cabin with a hot tub - romantic eh - where taking the kids 10 8 and a 3 year old the hot tubs gonna have pee in it :'(
So I need a flatter stomach and some toning to happen. Then holiday in Sept me him and mini and then a wedding on Boxing Day - I need to start planning now to get my head back on it for the May one :/

We've started watching the walking dead from series one - has anyone watched that?

  • Hi TakeItEazy - It is not simple as regards gluten free. If you are coeliac then it really matters. Mornflake is produced in a gluten free environment, As you can imagine Ready brek is not. Here is the blurb on the packet, up to you to decide, you know what you can and cant tolerate... as you can see the BOLD ingrediants are in some way contaminated with gluten. But if you are coping ok with that, that is all that matters for you :)
    Ingredients

Wholegrain Rolled Oats (60%), Wholegrain Oat Flour (38%), Calcium, Niacin, Iron, Riboflavin (B2), Vitamin B6, Thiamin (B1), Folic Acid, Vitamin D, Vitamin B12.
    Allergens

Allergy Advice. For allergens, including cereals containing gluten, see ingredients in bold. Also, not suitable for milk allergy sufferers.
Remember when you judge someone, it does not define them ... You define yourself :j

    Hi all
Sorry for being AWOL- ive been really unwell with one thing and the other- mostly with that God awful carb flu. I've knocked SP well and truly on the head on the advice of my GP. She wasn't sure why I had such a bad reaction but she thinks it might be because I've had liver problems in the past. I've upped my target which I am throughly disgusted with myself for doing :( but I'm still at a 'reasonable' weight which is the absolute lower end of my target. However I am throughly expecting Sod's law and a loss at WI  once it gets nearer to my ball in April I'll lower my target again and blitz it so I look decent in my dress- at the minute it's tight. The zip is knackered so I have to put it over my head :p which could be problematic if I don't shed some of this pudding :D
    Sunday's food plan.
B: SW fry up- bacon, 2 fried eggs, beans, Quorn hot dogs (2 syns) pint of NAS
L: Turkey chunks and salad, pint of NAS
T: Chicken (no skin) veg, a few Aunt Bessie's midweek mini Roasties (1.5 Syns) Stuffing (3 syns) 0% Activia with some Milkybar buttons (9 syns)
S: HEXB Alpen Light x 2, HEXA glass of milk
    Syns: 15.5 (ooopsies :o 1/2 a syn over!!)
    Hope everyone's ok x

    Morning all

Just a quickie before I get ready for work - delighted to report -4lb this week. Only another 3lb and I'll have lost my Christmas gain :j

    Menu for today:

Grapes, raspberries and a banana with a FF Muller
    Shredded Wheat
    Salad with ham and egg
Sausages and bean casserole (done in the slow cooker with a Schwartz mix - no idea of Syns but it really can't be that high). Made with Sainsbury's reduced fat sausages. Will have this with broccoli, cabbage and peas. Maybe oven roasted sweet potatoes and butternut squash.

    Have a great day all.

    Good Morning lovelies :)

Well done on those losses jamiegem and lioness :T

Interesting seeing your inch losses tweets - that's amazing! Although it does look like you are getting slim faster on the right :rotfl:I wish I'd taken both some before pictures and some measurements so I could compare because sometimes I really don't feel like I've lost weight. Perhaps I should try my old jeans on today to remind me - I did keep them!

After gaining 3 of the last 4 weeks, sneaky home weigh suggests I might actually lose this week :D Just got to stay on plan for the next two days. I've sabotaged myself in the past on the day before or day of WI so must stay strong ;)

My husband and eldest daughter LOVE this show! So much that the eldest got series 1 to 4 for Christmas, so I'm thinking about having a go of it. Let me know what you think!

Feeling MUCH better today. No where near as weak. Which is a good thing because its doing the rounds and looking like one of the kids is starting to get stomach pains :(

Todays menu is gonna be a light one I think, but i'm gonna go back and count the syns today (yesterday my body needed them so didn't count them) so i'm gonna try and aim for this:

Breakfast: 2 rich tea fingers (2 syns) - Just to get something on my stomach.
Lunch: Hopefully a small jacket potato with a couple of spoons of beans.
Dinner: Making the kids turkey dinner, so i'll have a couple of slices of turkey, but instead of "dinner" I'll have it with some new potatoes, and maybe some beetroot and egg whites (will see how I go).

Snacks and syns are gonna be simply made up of some rich tea fingers or ginger snaps. Don't think I'm gonna have any fruit. My sickness has gone the other way now :o so I don't want to "encourage" that, for like of another word :o

Hope everyone has a great Monday and good luck for the week ahead!!

Up much earlier than usual as feeling absolutely carp; really sore throat, streaming nose, headache & earache. This has to be the worst cold I've had in years - trouble is it doesn't affect my appetite!

    Another EE day today:

B - scrambled eggs on toast; melon chunks
L - HM veg soup (stock made with the chicken carcass overnight)
D - Spanish chicken (1 syn for chorizo - I use 30g for 4 portions just for the flavour!)

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread

    Snacks: satsumas; melon

Syns: no idea at the moment but will have something (if I feel as bad tonight as I do now it'll probably be whisky, honey & hot water, LOL!)
