I wish I'd taken both some before pictures and some measurements so I could compare because sometimes I really don't feel like I've lost weight. Perhaps I should try my old jeans on today to remind me - I did keep them!

Measure the waist on your old jeans, then your waist on your current ones, that will give you a good idea of inch loss :)

Morning everyone, it's been a busy week - back at work last Monday after 2 weeks off - that alarm came as a bit of a shock! Still, with the last mortgage payment this month I have been able to reduce my working week to 4 days for now with a view to going down to 3 in the future. Having that extra day made such a difference to the week. We had a man in on Friday to plaster a wall and then did a load of tiling in the kitchen yesterday. Unfortunately it meant the cooker was out of action as we are all electric and the sockets are all hung off the wall!! So we had a chinese takeaway last night.

Fortunately, it hasn't done too much damage (or it is still waiting to show itself) as I have managed to lose 3 1/4lb

Sorry I don't post very often, but it takes all my spare time to keep up with you all!!

Have a good week everyone :)

    Good Morning lovelies :)

Well done on those losses jamiegem and lioness :T

Interesting seeing your inch losses tweets - that's amazing! Although it does look like you are getting slim faster on the right :rotfl:I wish I'd taken both some before pictures and some measurements so I could compare because sometimes I really don't feel like I've lost weight. After gaining 3 of the last 4 weeks, sneaky home weigh suggests I might actually lose this week :D Just got to stay on plan for the next two days. I've sabotaged myself in the past on the day before or day of WI so must stay strong ;)

    Good Morning :)

Crabapple when I started I thought about taking a picture , I hate having my pic taken so didn't bother. Now I wish I had taken one side view showing belly and a front view :(

I am hoping I have a loss this week a lb or more :)

  • Just to add.....apparently the casserole mix is 5.5 Syns and the sausages will be 8 making a total of 13.5 Sysn for the whole meal. Divided by four = a very reasonable 3.5 Syns (rounded up)

    Morning all

To add to other comments, my OH thinks I'm mad when I shower and then put PJS on. In fact I didn't even open the curtains yesterday although I did dress because I popped out to get a paper. We won't mention the time the Tesco delivery driver turned up early and I was still in my dressing gown/just out the shower after going out for tea ended up being in the pub till closing time and a rather large drinks bill. I'm always losing/misplacing the what nots that go round the middle to keep the dressing gown closed so had to take delivery of the shopping one handed

and MEG72, I had steak from Morrisons and it was very disappointing. Won't buy again. I was quite excited when they released their reward card and thought I might shop there more often but teething trouble with the new scheme and staff not knowing what they were doing meant I lost out on points and now I can't be bothered with it.

So my menu for today is something like this.

    sachet of porridge - 27g - 4.5 syns

Lunch New Covent Garden skinny soup - goan chicken - HEB portion.

Tea - chicken stir fry and noodles

snacks to pick from - melon/tangerine/pear/nectarine
    small treatsize chocolate bar

Comments: I forgot I was having soup for lunch when I picked my breakfast this morning but luckily the porridge is only 4.5 syns so not too bad. Ideally I should make today a green day but start as I mean to go on - need to get out of the mindset of red and green days and concentrate on extra easy.

Have a good day all xx

  • The ALDI extra special steaks are quite nice.

I discovered a load of Old El Paso casserole mixes in the cupboard, we got them cheap in Heron foods but are really nice. The ingredients is usually chicken, tomatoes, veg, etc. to add and then a small packet of powder.

The whole thing can't have more than a few syns in them, it's mostly just spices. But they're really nice if people fancy a change and something Mexican that isn't wraps with loads of cheese, etc.
