Trying to have another SP day today as I had a sneeky peep this morning and things aren't looking too promising for tomorrow nights wi.. So today so far has been - Breakfast was just drinks as I felt a bit meh. Lunch was pea and ham soup then half apple, satsuma and half pear. Dinner tonight is lean lamb stewed with onion, mushrooms, carrots served with loads of cauli, brocolli and butter bean mash as far as I know. Supper will be hexs possibly cheese and beetroot sarnie(hexa and hexb 1) and the other hexb might be some almonds to nibble on whilst DH and I settle down and watch something on Netflix. I will try to leave the almonds with chocolate on alone and just have plain ones
. DH added a spoonful of yoghurt into the full amount of pea and ham soup but I told him not to worry about it as all it would do is dilute the effect of SP if I have understood things correctly. Will probably munch of a bit more fruit (S) ones through the evening too.
Well done on the latest losses. Some are getting off to a fab start on new challenge. Well done tweets on your lost inches too. I wouldn't have been able to get a tape measure long enough to measure me when I first started :rotfl: For anyone who is struggling to get back into it all, hang on in there and things will start shifting soon.
Welcome to our newbies. Keep popping in at least once a day if that is possible and I am sure that it does help in trying to keep motivated. It does get a bit difficult at times especially when things are so busy on this thread. There is usually someone around who can answer questions or if you just need someone to sound off to.
Well I am ashamed to say that when I got in a little while ago I showered and washed hair then got straight into my pjs  You can bet your bottom dollar we will get visitors tonight :rotfl:
Good luck everone for the coming week.

I would have used 2 tape measures its good knowing how many inches I have lost :T0 -
Well a disappointing food day for me today - I've not been able to eat most of my tea, it's making me gag.. not sure why. I feel sick even thinking about it!! I used the rest of Healthy extras and syns on it.. really annoyed, I hope I can just muddle on until bedtime without needed to eat anything extra.
Fluff - i'd add another HEA just to make sure you're getting your calcium. Calcium helps with weight loss apparently so it won't hurt.
Meg - hope your dinner turned out ok x
tweets - great losses... :T
Flateric - I've never seen nutracheck before, but it just looks like Myfitnesspal which is free. MFP might be a better choice.
So for the challenge these are the people I am missing weigh ins for this week... let me know if I've missed your result and i'll update it..

If you are worried about lack of calcium on EESP, then eating S and P foods that contain it, negates the need to add in yog or an additional HEA from week2
Quark, cottage cheese, spinach, kale, soya and tofu all contain calcium and can easily be added into mealtime. So a few spinach leaves in a salad. Quark added to mash instead of cream/milk/butter. Kale to dip in humous . I also add quark when making humous as it lightens the texture, or Cottage cheese mixed in with eggs, when making an omelette.0 -

Plain porridge 35g is a B. there is Mornflake oats in sachet and Oat so simple in sachet, but no ready brek on the list. I am guessing because it has fat in as well as carbohydrate sugars. It isnt gluten free for coeliacs. The oats and the oat flour in ready brek are not gluten free as far as I have been told. I
I thought ALL allergy advice has to be listed these days, so if it had any hint of gluten it should say so even if to say 'may contain'. Don't know why but I thought oats WERE gluten free anyway. I can tolerate ready brek so sticking with it.Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Shala sorry thought I had posted that I am a sts this week as I just joined a group on tuesday so will take that as my starting weight.0 -
Well a fairly okay day for me today. Have been busy packing away the xmas decorations as we got new boxes for them this week as the old boxes were falling apart.
I have made two pans of soup as well carrot and corriander and a scotch broth - yum. Both will be bagged up and frozen tonight with a couple of portions kept out for this week.
Today's menu was
brunch: LM sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, scrambled egg, turkey rashers and toast (HeB)
Dinner: Gammon steak, roast potatoes (2 syns for olive oil), cauliflower cheese (HeA for cheese and 8 syns for flour, butter and milk), carrots and brocolli
syns 13 as I also had 125ml milk for coffee0 -

Thats a brilliant idea! Might try that one myself

Shala I only rejoined on Tuesday. My weight however was what it started as last time so feel free to put STS for this week and the fingers crossed I'll message back on Tuesday with a loss!
Thanks for all the hard work you put into the chart. Your a little gem :T:T:T
Update for today. Ate 3 ginger nuts for breakfast. Managed 2 slices of chicken, 2 roast potatoes and a small yorkshire for lunch. And for dinner I've had a packet of ready salted crisps.
So a bad day syn wise, but this bug has really took it out of me and I was craving salty stuff. Feel so weak. Hopefully a good nights sleep will be had tonight and I feel better tomorrow. Luckily I'm not back at work till Wednesday so I'll be able to rest up tomorrow. I have a really poor immune system, so whenever I get even the smallest of bugs, it really affects me and drains me.

I love to do that, specially if I'm feeling a bit chilled after being out in the cold. Lovely hot shower and then PJs and dressing gown.
Thanks for the strategies for resisting temptation in the work place. I've used visualisation in the past to keep me on track, imagining how I'd feel after losing weight, how much better I'll feel about my health and appearance so that's what I'll do.
Back tomorrow.
