It is no easier at 35 trust me!!! I think the only time I found it easy was the 16 - 25 bracket when of course I had them throwing themselves at me and I didn't want one lol :rotfl:Sods law!![/QUOT

Thanks lovely, I met my husband, father of my kids at 15
ohhh saw him wanted him and caused bloody chaos till I got him, got suspended from school for disgracing the uniform. lol was seen on the back of his bike eating an icecream. Married him at 17
despite parental disapproval. It wasn't all bad, and I am still friends with him, well cant really be at odds with the one who gave me the greatest gift of all, two beautiful kids.

Lol babe think it must be Spring judging from the number of messages I am getting from younger men who seem to think I am up for being taught a trick or two, might just get naughty and scare the hell out of a couple.

I just want to meet one nice decent man my own age, who wants to get old a bit disgracefuly xx

    You've done amazingly!

I just realised I hadn't told hubby so said to him 'meet your not overweight wife!. He replied 'you're not the woman I married!' :rotfl:. Really pleased I've done it, especially as I started off obese.

You must feel so much better Crabapple. Bet DH is so proud of you. Seems to be taking ages to hit the overweight mark - think I've got another 3 point something to go before I make it. Oh well will make it sometime I suppose :rotfl::rotfl:

    Hello all

I've been struggling to get my head in the right place this week, I have lots of stress at the moment which really isn't helping. But on the way to work this morning, I have stopped off and bought lots of fruit, yummy veg, some stir fry stuff, spices and eggs and low cal bread to make myself scrambled eggs on toast for lunch at work.

Oh, but in typing that, I've just realised I've had crunchy bran for breakfast so I'll have to count the bread as syns rather than a Hex B.

Oh I hope I can get my head round this soon!

Sounds as though you are heading in the right direction MeandO :D

To all those craving Chinese etc,
Why don't you try something like this?

Singapore Noodles (EE 0.5 Syns), If I can manage this, you can too!
It tastes as good as it looks too!
This is without the noodles, I will add them in tomorrow, when I warm this up.

I lose, gain, sts and repeat
Pennies, I know how you feel – that’s me too. BUT, I have to remind myself that without SW everything would spiral totally out of control. I’ve accepted that I’m on the slow train rather than the express. I might take (much) longer to reach my destination, but I get to look at the countryside or even stop off to have a better look when I see somewhere I fancy (lunches out, treats etc. are completely guilt free). I have also accepted that that’s MY choice. SW is a liveable and healthy way of managing weight. I want to sustain it long term i.e. for however many years I have left (hope there are lots!), not just the next one or two. I do like the challenges set on here and I do my best within the track I’ve chosen. I’ve dropped out of the challenge this time, because I have too much on (lucky me) to make much of a dent (and gains will spoil Shala’s lovely chart!) However, I am still doing my SW planning and at least trying to minimise the damage I’ll do over the next month or so. Don’t give up! Find the way that works for you and keeps you happy.

    Good for you, Matron.

Jock, love your clown trousers. You could wear a belt but that would probably weigh more than changing to a different pair, including underwear!

Meg, some folk have some very odd ideas about what is appropriate! Good luck this weekend. Oooh, that fruity “pizza” looks nom nom nom!

It is hard just keep trying, I've just talked myself out of getting a Chinese!!! Gallbladder says no as does my trousers :rotfl:and my purse!!

You ll get back in your stride soon : )

I thought you were getting something Green. What were you planning, crispy seaweed??;)

I did have a salad when I was in town earlier, decided that it wasn't a good idea to miss lunch 2 days running. I don't want to hang on to any fat!! It's been a glorious day here so I bought salad nicoise from Pret a Manger and sat on a park bench with it. It's 100% free except for the vinaigrette which comes in a separate pot and I only added a drizzle, it's enough. So except for a small amount of potato I'll be SP today. I'm satisfied with the odd SP day/meal. I think I'd only try a week if I really needed to lose a few pounds quickly for a special occasion.

Lucky escape meg. Good that he showed his colours now rather than further down the line.

I've not seen tweets about for a day or so.:)

    Hi all

sts for me this week shala as I didn't go to weigh in yesterday. Felt miserable with a cold and shivery feeling so stayed in instead. To be honest I don't think it would have been a good weigh in as I have had two lunches and a dinner out as well as mothering sunday. Got a week to reign it in and see if I can lose at least 1lb on Tuesday.

congrats on the SOTW beg and to all the other losers.

Well done to all the losers. You are amazing. :T

CountingPennies and anyone else who is struggling, chin up and keep on trucking. Each day is a new opportunity.

I was away for me and OH's anniversary on Monday night and we splurged. There was champagne, petit fours, a five course tasting menu and such a good breakfast. I just ate the lot! ;)

We did walk 8 miles - our longest walk yet - of the South Downs Way which offset some of it but it's meant a smaller weight loss than I might have liked. I'm down -1lb this week.

Back on the wagon now and a good lesson in enjoying life but not letting what I eat dictate everything.

Looking to get back on plan this week, am off to see mum and dad, another dinner out so need to be mindful of what I am eating. Planning another long walk on Saturday though and have a couple of exercise classes booked in next week.

And focusing on the fact I am looking better each day, feeling great and have lots of energy. :D
