Great news LordDuke. It can take a while to get into a smaller size, far from automatic but such a good feeling.:)

    Morning everyone :)

Congrats to those with losses and hugs to those struggling.

I love jocks weight saving ideas! Well, they make me laugh, I don't think I'll be going to WI with no undies on  The first couple of months I weighed with my trainers on, then one week I knew I'd not stuck to plan very well so took them off - 0.5lb loss that week ;)

Sorry the man turned out to be a numpty Meg :( Fancy not thinking you might want to be with your family on mother's day!

I think there's something wrong with me - I'm really enjoying this exercising lark! Did the first session of C25K last night and want to do more, and am planning my week around my walks etc. Those mad people who go out jogging most nights - I want to be one :D I might end this journey both slim and fit!

    I'm reporting a 1lb loss!

    today:
30g coco pops with milk from hea
lunch is provided as I'm off to leicester for a meeting on behalf of the rugby club (my longest solo drive yet so I'm really nervous!) i'll have salad plus 2 small sandwich triangles on wholemeal bread
    not sure about tea

yesterday was poor food wise, all i had all day was half a tin of free sketti, a benefit light bar, some pepsi max and a small portion of spaghetti with 15g grated cheese and some baked beans :/

Today is weigh in day for me.. dreading it, but it'll give me a point to say "enough now, get back on track"

I shall be wearing my normal, heavier clothes too as i'm just going to bite the bullet and stop wearing my lighter but bigger trousers! I'll have put on anyway so i may as well blame the heavier clothes :rotfl:

have a good day losers... ;)

Good for you - I've got as far as putting together the 3 panels which make up the back - can't go any further until I get a zip! Hoping I can get one when I go into town for WI this morning. I've also joined the 3 panels which make up the front. Really wanted to do more but couldn't go any further without that bl**dy zip;)

Once I get the zip in there won't be much more to do to get it into something which resembles a dress.

LOL when I read that vision of what could happen if Jock carries on wearing his clown trousers without a belt:rotfl:

Getting boring now with my EE days!

    B - banana after WI
L - tuna & cucumber sandwich; fruit salad
D - HM salmon & prawn fishcakes with pickled cucumbers, served with steamed rice. Must remember to buy an extra cucumber to do the pickled ones!

Not a huge amount of SFs (Speed) foods there but it'll do for today.

Back later with result from WI - expecting a gain s overdone the syns again this week.

  • The trousers have a cord tie, which is the main reason I wear them.

I was in Sainsbury's, doubled up some vouchers for clothes and they gave me a £9 off £60 spend, so I checked the mens sale rails, a lot of S sized stuff, I was looking for medium. Tried a couple of M stuff on and it was a little loose.

So I tried on some S jumpers and they fit! So got myself a couple.

I'm a 6ft2 man, and have worn XL for the last 15 years, even when I was 13 I wore a mens L (i know I still have the football shirts).

I still remain too big for 34 jeans and too fat for 32 ones, so will hopefully sort that eventually.

Shala - Plums were good just not the nectarines I had thought I had bought :(

Maman - I know doesn't take much to get me thinking of the Chinese! Although the gallbladder explains why I have went off them and felt so wretched after them of late!

Crabapple - It does that to you, the more exercise you get the more you want and then it loses its appeal every so often and until you find it again. So go with it when your into it that's my advice!!

Meg - I can just see you on the back of that motorbike!! Similar to yourself I'm a determined bxxger and if I see something I want I too normally persist until I get it!! :rotfl:

Can't believe its Thursday already today, but hey its not my weigh in day anymore so pleased about that!! So far this week have managed the gym once, c x works class and a 20 of a kickboxing dvd. So I'm pleased that I'm making my comeback.

Will go to the gym tonight before dinner which is Chicken Salad.
  • Crabapple, it's a great feeling isn't it. Good luck with the C25k, am sure you will be doing that 5k with ease before you know it.

I think with exercise it's about finding something you love and want to do, rather than feeling obligated. For me it's walking, I could barely stand to walk a mile 6 months ago and now I love nothing more than getting out to the middle of nowhere and walking 6+ miles. And I actually look forward to it all week and walk more in the rest of the week.
