  • Hello everyone - just popping in to report a -1lb loss this week. Was hoping for a bit more especially as it was only a piddly little 0.5lb last week. Will have to check that I am being as good as I think I am ;)

Haha - just found this in my photobucket and decided to share it! :D

I used to use photobucket all the time but I'd forgotten how it works and my login info so after reading Meg's request for details about it I decided to tackle it.

It took a while but once I'd completed the forgotten details page I managed to reset my password, and then I discovered all sorts of images I'd forgotten all about.

I'm a bit rusty, so not up to giving instructions yet. When I'm more confident with it I'll give it a go. Firstly, sign up to it - you can also log in with your Facebook account, and then take it from there.

Welcome back MrsR and minihauk and pennylane :)

Good day at work with eating. Not so much with actual work as the computers were down most of the day and it's suprising how little you can get done without one these days :rotfl:

I've ordered myself a fit tracker thing so that I can start to log steps and see how I'm doing. I do so little exercise that I really do need to start getting on top of that. Thinking of doing some walking but it will be interesting to see how immobile I actually am at the moment :o.

I'm both looking forward to and scared of WI tomorrow! Not weighing myself multiple times daily means I have no idea how I'm doing and I so so want to get 2lb off - it's been a long while since I've had a loss that big :(

I am annoyed with myself because in the New Year I imagined I might have shed quite a bit in the first couple of months but it's not happened. I promised myself a shopping trip for new Spring clothes at Easter but it's not looking good. :(

well done to all the good people on here.:T
We're all good people on here!! There's still over a month to go before Easter Penny so don't give up yet!:)

Thanks for the photobucket info meg and shala. I've loaded the app on to my phone. So that's a start.

This is the Hairy Bikers recipe greentiger.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/braised_steak_with_gravy_24508

All you need to do is substitute the oil with frylight and then the only syns are 1tsp of cornflour shared between 4 people. It's plenty of gravy for 4 if you have it with chips. I generally cook it with 2 steaks for two of us but the same amount of gravy as 4 and then there's loads if you want to make a roast dinner type meal instead with roasties and loads of veg. I generally buy cheap sirloins from Farmfoods but I'm sure it would be fine with braising steak. I also add sliced mushrooms as well as the onions. It's yummy.

Someone at my dance class brought along some chocolate tea cakes tonight for us to have with our tea as she wanted to use them up. I succumbed.:o I've only had two meals today and an apple so hopefully I'll get away with it.
  • Wow just checked my chart and realised I'm only 1lb away from 180lbs, this is a major milestone for me as this was the weight I used to tell internet dating sites I was (but never have been since I was about 10) so it'll be nice to get there.

Not having any tea tonight before weigh in, going to see what the tasting event brings, if nothing else I can eat my own chilli and lentil soup.

Good morning! Well, not so good, as my cold/flu is getting worse and I am sat in my office. There is no Lemsip in this country, and I had to compromise by taking some paracetamol and now have a hot lemon and honey on my desk (guess how many syns am I going to drink in form of hotwater with honey and tea today?!).

I switched on Wii last night after long time and put zumba disk on, and we attempted to dance with the kids. It is good workout for someone like me - as after two songs I was driping with sweat!!!!!!!!

Have AquaZumba tonight - but after that one I am just freezing! Although, I noticed, that after any exercise, no matter how warm/sweaty I get, a short time after I star freezing and shivering (and that is not because I am all wet from sweat - I usually have a shower afterwards). Anyone else the same? Any ideas how to stop this post-exercise freeze? I can have nice hot shower, put warm socks, sweater on, hide under the blanket with hot tea and hot water bottle and be shivering at the same time!!!!

And as it is Tuesday, it is the weigh-in day (last one for this challenge?) - and I am pleased to report a loss of 1.1lb!

    Menu today:
B: oat porridge, coffee, Aldi chocolate sticks (1 stick - about 1 syn, and I had 2.5 sticks, so 2.5 syns)
L: veg soup/stew (all S/P veg and beans), might add a couple of Finn Crisp slices
D: same as for lunch, as there is a big pot to be eaten!

And then litres of hot water with lemon and honey for an undertermined number of syns during the day...

Right, back to feeling sorry for myself and my hot lemon honey tea.
