  • Hi everyone. I'm back from the lakes and in a good frame of mind.
I am expecting a small loss on Wednesday morning because we have done loads of fell walking and swimming.
I bought the sweet potato curry ready meal as an alternative to a takeaway and have to say that although there was plenty of it and it tasted ok, I probably won't be buying it again. I have the pizzaola chicken for later this week and am hoping it is nice. I plan having sw chips and green beans with it.
Off to do a top up shop and then make a proper meal plan for the week.

Jocks - Yeah they are a tweak so have to be syned. Anything you change into something its not meant to be used for apparently. You could argue potatoes = crisps mind you. I wouldn't really worry to much about it to be honest unless you were eating loads of them on a daily basis. I'd probably just rather syn a packet of crisps. Well done on your walk! Great achievement.

Tweets - Thank you so much for the ready meal reviews! Interesting! And well done on being so close to target. Maintaining definitely can seem very different to losing, working out where you can relax a bit and what you need to do to stay in control etc. You'll suss it out when you get there! I just need to get back there now to join you. All it can take is something like Christmas to push you well and truly out of your target zone and

Feeling proper rubbish today, didn't get to sleep until after 4 am, slept in was late for work and feeling totally out of sorts. Feel like going for a fry. I wont though. Had wine and a Chinese over the weekend. Not too naughty but getting a fed up with myself for binging a the weekend and then feeling under pressure to make up for it during the week.

Need to take myself by the hand and have a little word with myself.

Honestly right now could go right home to bed. I nearly turned the car round this morning as I felt so ill with tiredness.

    Good Afternoon :)

    Thank you lantanna :)

    Hello, summerlady. Great losses already.

I really like the rosemary and red onion sausages. I’ll have to make a special trip to a Sainsbury to get that deal. Off to look online to find where nearest one is! Oh well just read further down now, so scrap that idea!

lantanna, I’ve a wedding outfit to get too (son’s wedding on 10th April). I’m going with daughter on 15th March – and because it’s Mother’s Day, she’s booked afternoon tea for us. I think I’ll have to have found the perfect outfit before the food!

SeaBee, I’m with you - +2lb this week, all my own work! Oh well, at least I'm 3lb lighter than I was at the start of this challenge. Thanks for keeping tabs on us, shala.

  • Afternoon all. I was up and out early this morning to my new personal trainer, was v apprehensive about the whole thing but she was ace and I came out buzzing. However I can now barely stand up!!! According to her scales I'm on for a 2.5 loss this week so, assuming they tie up with the sw scale, the no bread plan has worked out well for me!

    Todays food is...

B: Banana (before trainer), 3 x babybel lights (hex a) and 65g of prunes (hexb)
L: Small bowl split pea soup and tuna with salad cream light and salad (1 syn)
D: Quorn chilli (2 syns), wm rice and salad

Syns will be M&S guilt free choco crispy bites (7) and not sure what else.

    Am absolutely wiped out!!!!!!!!

    Hello all...

Well, weekend was a wash out with respects to meals... We did shopping on Friday night and bought frozen stuff like cevapcici (minces meat sausage like things), rosti, spinach, etc... And forgot to unpack the cold bag.... Only realised the Saturday morning, when everything was half defrosted. So, instead of having a stock of something to put in the oven for a quick kids meal, we had a stock to be eaten on the day... Did a bit better on Sunday, but my slow cooker pulled pork was a bit slow to cook, so ended up just snacking on various bits in the evening.

Woke up this morning, got ready for the work, but was not feeling worse by the minute, sodecided to stay home and it is getting worse and worse... Well, have to be in the office tomorrow, so hope it gets a bit better...

Just an outfit for the wedding I've to get Maman, no bridesmaid duties for me this time : ) Wedding is in first week of April so will need to buy something next month. Still plenty of time to shed half a stone, fingers crossed!

Oh that's good. If it's an outfit then you won't have to go through all the fittings in advance. The most popular outfits last week were definitely dresses either with little cardis or pashminas or jackets. Some people wore what one of my friends once called a fornicator but I just had my hair done!:rotfl:

I have a formal dinner to go to in a month so hoping to wear my dress again that night. So need to make sure I stay close to target. Good motivation for me.

Freezer is now virtually empty of HM ready meals. This week I'll definitely be making soup and must go to Asda and get some 5% mince as ate the last of it today.

    Hi All,

Got room for a little one? (actually, not so little which is why I'm back....)

I am still going to group, not losing much as life gets in the way with visits to friends and socialising, so my journey is but in the right direction.

It is nice to see familiar faces on here. I have been lurking, but with a new challenge on the horizon I would like to join in again.

Jock - well done on the walk, a great achievement.

Todays tea was really tasty a big piece of chicken in a tomato sauce.
Even though there was a lot of sauce it wasn't overpowering and made the meal .
