Its a 1.5lbs loss for me this week please Shala. Thanks again for running the challenge. I've really enjoyed it, looking forward to the next one. I find that challenges really help me to stay motivated.

I also got my 2 stone shiny this week, so very pleased with that.

I'm really struggling with clothes at the moment, everything looks too baggy and shapeless. I still want to lose at least 2.5 stones so I don't want to buy too much, but I may have to make a few purchases!

Well done all losers and everyone else

I bought bits and bobs as I went along, its was a total pain at the time. Nothing ever seemed to fit for more than 5 mins. I went through black trousers for work in particular like crazy.

I bought bits cheaply in Asda & Primark until I reached were I wanted to be and then had to totally restock. It was bleak at times and its takes a while but eventually you do get a wardrobe built up again and once you have the basics in place you can save up and splash out more on good quality things that will last like coats etc. Its great having a selection again now as at once stage I was nearly wearing the same thing to work all week. You'll love it

No good for me, I'd also need something that locked them away and dispensed one a day as well as when the top came off I'd eat the lot

Dr Christian had them on his show once, they didn't rate them at all. I think when they did open though you'd end up taking more out than you actually wanted or needed - fear of it shutting again I guess. Its that wanting what you can't have thing!!

Thanks all for the advice, I'll definitely take a look in the charity shops and the other shops mentioned.

I have taken in one of my skirts a couple of times, and it's now gone a funny shape!! Shouldn't moan though as I am really happy with my weight loss.

I saw those containers on Dr Christians show and they were really small, certainly not worth the price!!

  • I find wearing baggy clothes really highlights your weight loss, I really need smaller jeans.

Well done on your 1.5lb this week and your 2 stone shiney!

Definitely worth a look in charity shops for "new" clothes rather than buying new; or if you don't feel you can do that then SM clothes, Primani & Matal*n all do reasonably priced clothes which shouldn't break the bank too much. I don't think it's sensible to spend unnecessarily on clothes until you get to where you want to be.

    Denise

And congratulations from me too bellkat.:T

Another vote here for Charity Shops and a bit of cheap stuff. I found that I wasn't paying much I'd experiment with some colours too as for years I'd worn black from head to toe. Many of the 'in between' clothes (except the worn to death basics) have been rehomed back to the CS so win/win.

I agree jock, baggy clothes aren't flattering and why go to all this trouble to lose weight then not flaunt it!

I did keep my original Weigh In clothes for quite a while though until they were (quite literally) falling off. I remember how great it felt to have jeans I could get off without opening them.:rotfl:

I do hope this helps you stars still working towards target. It's a brilliant feeling and it doesn't go away!:D
