  • I wear the same light trousers and a t-shirt, the trousers now look like clown pants but I still wear them.

I've realised I cannot drink tea with milk without biscuits, I normally drink green/fruit/peppermint tea when at home, but at my parents I had normal and used the HEA but stuffed myself on biscuits, not a good day yesterday.

    Hi Fay66 & Meg72,
It is my intention to join SW as soon as I'm able to leave my home. I bought all the relevant books on eBay, but due to suffering with Social Anxiety, plus many other ailments, I've not gone to a group meeting as yet.
I would like to know, how do you all feel about what you weigh at a meeting, with clothes, compared to weighing yourself at home, without clothes. Is anything taken off your weight for clothes, etc.,?
Do you wear the same clothes to the meetings every week, or, is there another secret?

Thanking you for taking of your time to read this message.
    Yours sincerely,
    Samantha22

Hi Sam you don't have to go to a group at all to do the SW plan,
I do go to group but can honestly say that I have received more help, and support from the lovely people on here than I have from the group.

Post any question you like ,as often, as you like and someone will always be willing to help, no thanks needed for taking time to read Hun so don't think you are bothering anyone.

If you want to go to group to help with the Social anxiety then may I suggest you take someone with you, they don't have to join
themselves just be there as support for you.

Why not find a group near you and ring the Consultant for a chat before going, that way you can explain your difficulties in going and she can help you decide w.hat to do.

Good luck Hun looking forward to your posts and a very well done for taking these first steps, hugs Meg.

Mildredd, there is a woman keeps rejoining my group because she wants to get to a certain weight so that she can do a skydive for charity. She was there before I joined nearly two years ago and still keeps leaving and coming back but never gets anywhere with losing weight. You can be one proud lady when you do that skydive!! :T Coz lots of people have these dreams and you have actually been able to go and do it!!
Glad you enjoyed your boots and jeans Shala, you hold on to that feeling and let it spur you on!!
Michcity – Well done on your honesty and drawing a line. :T Happens to us all, its how you react now is key!
Take it Easy – I am too allergic to life kiddo!Definitely men anyway :wall:
I’ve been really bad on Saturday and I really hope that I can pull it back now:doh:
    Bottle of wine
    Small piece of carrot cake
    Piece of apricot swiss roll
    Haribo
Doesn’t look that bad when I put it out there but I still feel bad about it.Just coz I was being so good and was so focused.
Maman Chocolate and cheese are my two best friends! :rotfl:
Shala – I’ve been on the hunt for the Peanut Hottie, our Sainsburys don’t have it but I’m hoping Tesco will.
The form is dodgy hence the Saturday eating and drinking._pale_ Two different friends got in touch about planning nights out later this month so those are something to look forward to.I guess I’ve got to learn in life that not everyone will like you and its outside of your control. Moving on though is easier said than done when you really really liked someone! :embarasse
Anyway I am hoping to have a good week both SW wise and life wise.I do not know what is wrong with me but the thought of Valentines Day on Saturday is also depressing me.:heartpulsI also dreamt I was pregnant last night and no one would believe me that it wasn’t possible lol. Think my head is gone lol
Chicken with lots of veg for me for dinner
Trying to save myself from this sort of behaviour:EasterBun is my goal right now!!!

Chin up lovely spoil yourself rotten on Valentines night treat yourself to whatever you want, you deserve it and are worth it.
Remember dear Beanies mantra Keep Plodding.

I have had a lovely time this weekend scamming my scammer
and he should be racing to the post office just about now. Really wanted to put the photo an phone number on FB but the photo is most certainly stolen, poor man is probably happily married with 6 grandkids so is a victim too. The phone number is real though :rotfl:

    Hi Everyone

Late getting to a computer this morning as soooooo busy at work.

Shala I'm reporting another STS this week despite mixing things up and watching everything I ate like a hawk. So plan for this week is to post up my menus and hopefully someone will spot something that I am missing as I've run out of ideas!!

I tend to do EE or Green days

B Oats so simple multigrain sachet (HEB) with SS milk from HEA
L Fruit salad consisting of apple, grapes, orange and pear with a Weight Watchers FF yoghurt
    Snack Banana
D liver and onions cooked with frylight, mashed swede and carrot and brussel sprouts, gravy (2 syns)
Supper Pink and white (2.5 syns) OR Velvet Crunch (5 syns)

Drinks are NAS vimto or fruit teas and I try to bank syns through the week for weekend vodka!!

Off to catch up with the rest of you

I kept looking at PB2 which is an American product they sell on Amazon but it's really expensive  so i tried the peanut hottie instead.. hope you find some, it's yummy!! If not we'll have to send you a care package :rotfl:

Mim - facebook group??? did i miss something?

Jock - hope you wear a belt :rotfl: but surely smaller sized trousers have less material = less weight! i do love seeing people who don't fit in their clothes anymore getting weighed though..:D

meg - well done on scamming the little bleeder!! i hope there's a massive queue behind him in the PO when he asks for the money...

Seabee - i can't see anything wrong with your menu, but are you not hungry after only fruit for lunch? i'd be ravenous! And also how can you only eat one of those pink n whites.. i'd have to have the whole packet otherwise i wouldn't sleep with them calling to me:rotfl:

Oh meant to say - does anyone else feel better knowing that although she has a lovely figure, Rihanna can still look like a prize berk at the grammy's in that dress!! what was she thinking.... :rotfl:
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

Personally I'd suggest the lunch isn't really in the spirit of food optimising, there should at least be some protein in there somewhere.

Shala - The trousers have a tie cord in them, so I don't need to wear a belt. The only other trousers that I have would require a belt and be heavier or be jeans.

Sorry I'm a bit late but it was a -1lb for me yesterday Shala

Happy enough with it as I had a dreadful week. I had to resort to calorie counting as my syns were sky high. My biggest downfall is comfort eating when I feel unwell, and with my ME that's pretty often! It's not looking good for making my target for the challenge, but it fairness I was very optimistic with it :D

I picked up some Low Low snack packs on offer today but they're coming in around 8/9 syns using the syn calculator. Does anyone know if I could count some of the cheese as a HEA? They look yummy :D

Congrats to all the losers last week and good luck to everyone for this week :)

  • I remember when I did WW years ago, I always weighed in wearing a lightweight black shift dress from New Look, the first few weeks it was a size 18 and by the time I finished it was a size 10. Long time ago sadly but I really want to see it through to the bitter end this time too. Am not planning any more babies, so hopefully I won't get derailed this time!

Well done to everyone who has lost, some really great results are being posted and hugs to those who aren't losing what they want / expect to.

I've noticed a difference from doing the green plan when I tried SW at home before, my results were less consistent than they have been this time around (although it's still early days...) I think part of that is down to me doing EE (or occasionally EESP) this time around. I'm veggie and did feel hard done by that I've lost the extra HEA and HEB that I was having on the green, but actually, lowering my cheese intake seems to be having a positive effect!
