Thanks for the welcome everyone :)

Had a slightly naughty day today and I know I'm in for a naughty weekend too... changing groups from a Wednesday to sat means I have a longer gap than usual to repair the damage at least? Also I'm in no rush to lose the weight really, I've lost more quickly than expected so far and have plenty of time.

Someone at work made a chocolate cake and put it in our office of 3 people and it felt like he'd be a bit offended if I didn't have any (he knows I'm dieting, whole office is generally trying not to gain weight, but he didn't do it cruelly). I had just one small piece and it was yummy, no idea what syns it'd be. I had 7 syns that weren't that cake :/

Tomorrow we're going to nandos for a friends birthday and sunday going for a family carvery. I know I can adapt these to be more SW friendly but I'm not sure I can bring myself to have a carvery without gravy and yorkshire pud. I'm normally quite good in the week, especially if I make breakfast egg bites (I think SW calls them quiches but I've made them pre SW and don't think they are very quiche like).

Just watched food and drink with Tom Kerridge, who is looking amazing having lost 9 stone! Anyone else see it?

He gave up carbs and is virtually teetotal.

The food tonight looked lovely, but I was a bit surprised when he took a blowtorch to little gem lettuce!

A month without Chocolate, no way Shala, but I have done over a month off the wine and that is an achievement in itself. I am so hankering after a bottle of red:( but its not happening. Well done on your loss, lets hope we both keep it moving now!

Keep using stuff up Greentiger as long as your syning it and it works out for you why not.
Mildredd – It’s a step too far!! You might end up overcompensating with other things, why not do something specific like Malteasers or something. Just an example not at all saying you scoff malteasers all the time :rotfl:
Selement – Find a group that suits you, there all different and things can change in them so quickly. I’ve been going to mine for 2 years and last night there was only a handful I recognised coz we have so many new members. They can be a bit cliquey. Get what you want from it for you and don’t worry about the rest.

Yes Lantanna, I'm allergic to life ;-)
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Morning all, you're either all having a lie-in or too busy shopping/washing/cleaning or doing some exercise to pop in!

Whatever you're doing, have a great weekend.

Gosh, you're right, Lois. It is quiet here this morning!

    Well done, iwannanicerlife.

I've been feeling rotten the last few days - either burning hot or chilled to the bone. As a result, I just couldn't stick to plan. Still not great so lots of easy options today. Not even going to the football, so that's bad :(.

Breakfast: boiled eggs with asparagus soldiers
Lunch: beans on hexb toast, fruit salad
Dinner: hot pot - this will have about 8 syns as it is made with round sliced sausage (pork & spring onion) from the butcher - beetroot, ML strawberry fruitopolis ½ syn

Can anyone tell me if I can count stewed fruit as free? (e.g. chopped apples/pears or forest fruit) I know sugar would need synned - what about sweetener? I know fruit would need to be synned if it was pureed. I can't get my head round "abuse" of stuff. I have some wrinkly fruit that needs using up and I want to avoid using it in cake/ muffins. Thanks.
