Jocks I think it depends on your frame the men's clothes to be honest
I know 3 men who wear medium one is really tall n thin - one is average and one Is short m tubby :/
Well done on the smaller size though :)

I've read but can't remember anything sorry

    No snow here :(

I'm being positively saintly this week due to the no food after antibiotics.

Throat looks better but is still sore

Image therapy in my class tends to be a bit samey but we do share recipes n meal ideas - however as my sw plan was eat what I like in a moderate way or slimming world up a meal I can't really contribute :/

Has anyone made the mushy pea gravy??

Wow Tweets that snow is much deeper than what we've got, ours is only a sprinkling in comparison. I'm out most of today shopping, massage & housegroup, so need to be careful driving. I really hate going out in snow either walking or driving!

    Menu:

B: Rice pops & BD milk. Coffee.
L: Mushy pea curry & rice (if I get time).
    D: BNS stew & J.Pot

    S: 4 x DF chocolate & cocoa

    Welcome Business to the thread.

    Good Morning :)

I will tell you where the snow is its here :(

Was slippy icy crunchy snow when I got home yesterday :(

It started snowing heavily around 9pm and don't think its stopped its still at it snowing heavily and its all white out ;)

This was what we meant to be having.. i was looking forward to a day in front of the tv snuggled in my blanket! :D

Instead we just have rain, rain and more rain...
What do people do at their meetings? All we basically do is go round the room finding out how everyone has done, that generally takes more than the full hour and we don't have time for anything else. Now we've got more people, it's positively tedious.

Our consultant always picks a topic and we chat about it. it usually starts with " did anyone have anyhting nice/new to eat this week"

She does go round the class but we just quickly shout out what we lost/gained.. takes about 5 minutes.

Sounds like we got a good consultant at ours.. she's really fun as well!
I am now comfortably a Medium!!! I've never bought M clothes in my whole life, in 1994 when I was 13, I was wearing size L football shirts. I know that because I still have them.

I can't imagine myself ever being Small, I'm 6ft 2, but the M ones were looking a little baggy.

    :T:j:T great NSV Jock!!
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

Hello, can I ask what a NSV is??

    Todays food for me is:

    B: Apple, coffee (no time!)
L: smoked trout, salad, syns 6, olive oil in dressing. 1 slice bread
D: Salmon or steak, rataouille or veg.

    Snacks: clementines, apples.
    HEA milk.

Can I have a few new potatoes as a HEB on EESP or is that not allowed?

I'm off for a girls weekend tomorrow evening. I must plan to be good and not go bananas drinking too much.
    Trying to keep in budget.

    Morning everyone

Shala for your chart I lost 1lb last week and put 1.5 on this week!!
(thanks for doing this, you do a fab job. How you keep up with everyone I've no idea).

Anyway, know exactly what went wrong this week so I'll be back here every day writing it down. Now 22 weeks until graduation day and I will NOT be the fat mammy:eek:

Before work - Peppermind tea, Greek yog (1/2), NAS Ribena
Breakfast - two toast (HEXB) and banana, coffee
Lunch - smoked ham, baby spinach, tomatoes, peppers, red onion, beetroot, gerkins. Dressing - 2 syns. Muller Light.
Dinner - mince and tatties with carrots, broccoli and green beans

Saving remaining syns for emergencies or wine at weekend!

Away to catch up, have a good day everyone x

Just done my post and have lost it:mad:

Let's try again (if I can remember what I put!).

First of all welcome Business, you'll find all the help you need on here. Just ask away if you have any questions.

    Having another EE day today:

B - porridge made with water, splash of milk from HEA; melon chunks
L - HM curried lentil, parsnip & apple soup; bread (3)
D - crocodile burger, chips & beans (from a tin this time not HM!); more melon, satsumas

    HEA - milk
    HEB - porridge
Syns - bread (3); choc digestive? (4) (DH bought another packet on his way home from work yesterday - he must of felt guilty about eating the rest of the packet the previous evening!)

Have chopped up the whole melon this morning and will pick at it throughout the day and evening!

Hoping to lose at least 1.5lb this week (very rarely lost this amount but have been good since last WI 2 weeks ago). Need to lost this otherwise I'll have to pay again and really don't want to after being at target for over 2 years!

    NSV - none scale victory
So it's a positive that's due to losing weight but not related to the number on the scale
So examples - taking child swimming, new clothes size, playing in soft play without fear of getting stuck in the tunnel eye?

Hi everyone.. Been feeling a bit blah.. This flipping cold weather isn't helping, thank god we got more rain than snow here in North Manchester, other areas were hit worse.. Phew!

Had a relatively good week although my scales aren't agreeing with that.. We'll see at WI tomorrow ;)

We have a good consultant and group, although I haven't stayed the last couple of weeks as absolutely jammed with all the new year starters.. Hopefully some will drop off as it makes for a loooong session otherwise.. We do similar, go round everyone.. Some do go on and hate the grumblers with I only lost 2lb etc, wanted more, but I did eat a maccy d's and drink a bottle of vodka.. That really winds me up as a slow loser I take any loss as a bonus!.. Also hate those that chat amongst themselves whilst others are taking their turn, so rude, thankfully our consultant now acts on that quickly!

There's a good group of us that have been going long term, losses ranging from those yo-yo'ing and still yet to lose a stone to over 10 stone lost.. Have an active Facebook page too which is good for sharing recipes etc

Some great losses coming in.. Good luck those still to weigh this week ;)
  • I battled through the snow this morning to get to my meeting only to find that I had gained 1LB Furious with myself because I know it's cheeky extras catching up with me. Grrr!
Onwards into next week now and going to track everything that goes in my mouth!
