I've had a gain of 1.5 lbs this week, which is a bit sad, as I think I had stuck to the plan. Will keep going and hope for a loss next week.

Just a thought cte - are you keeping track of everything that passes your lips and measuring hexs? Hopefully if you stick to it again this week you will be rewarded at your next wi. ;) Good luck.

I was offered some homemade chocolate at s-i-l's this morning and I was feeling saintly at the time but said I might take a small piece home with me for tonight. Well, I forgot but she hadn't and came running out to the car after me with chocolate cake all wrapped up. So I cut it in two and left some with my Mum and I had the other half (it was a small piece honest but had a little bit of buttercream and Galaxy chocolate on top). Up until that point I had been virtually syn free so I am using that for the days syns. :D

My results on the chart are fine Shala. Thank you for taking the time to sort it all for us - you are a star.

Taken gammon joint out of freezer tonight and will pop it in sc in the morning. Will do for a variety of meals for rest of week.

  • Well i plucked up the courage and went to class this evening. I needed to know how bad I've done so I could draw the line under it. The last 2 days trying to get back into it must have helped because by some miracle I've managed to stay the same! So STS for week 3 please Shala, all my other results are all present and correct! Thankyou for all your hard work on the chart!

Stayed to image therapy and feeling motivated to get back on it. I've a 2 hour break tomorrow, and my gym is across the road from work, so my plan is to go the the gym on my break instead of being tempted by the lovely foods at work! :rotfl:

Well done to everyone on the losses and awards! The 4 stone award is amazing! :T:T:T

Tomorrows menu is looks a but odd, but i'm on a split shift and this works for me!

Breakfast: Bacon, egg, beans and toast (bread HE)
Break at work: Thin-made into a pizza (5 syns for thin, cheese HE, chicken and red onion topping)
Tea/Supper: Either spaghetti hoops or shapes

Snacks/Syns will be fruit and syns listed above. May have a curly whurly, it depends how the day goes.

    Have a good day everyone!

Great stuff, b-e-g, bellkat, helejenkins, joho, retiredlady, jocko, Maisie, Lauri, Crabapple, djenks and ginvzt.

Its not really the meals that are the problem its the snacking and syns I have no control over at the minute, just want to eat everything!
Ditto, lantana. Back to feeling meh :( I had a pear at lunchtime that was more like a rock. No other fruit in house, so I persevered and, don't know if it's just coincidence, but now I've got indigestion, bloated stomach and general wiltingness.

A white wrap is NINE syns.
I had a WW wrap (smaller, I know) but only 5 syns. I make however many I need and freeze any left over, even if it’s just one!

Glad you enjoyed your meal and supper, meg.

Shala, you’re doing a great job with the chart, especially with so many of us to keep track of. You’ve got my (Monday) entries correct too.

    Wednesday’s Plan
Breakfast: cereal, splash hexa milk, fruit
Lunch: parsnip soup, Hartley’s 10 jelly (½ syn)
Dinner: steak, jacket potato, rainbow salad, ML yogurt

That's very strange. I'd agree with keeping a diary or better still, share your menus on here in case we can see an error.

I've cooked one today for tomorrow and, in the morning, I'll be making lentil soup from the stock. I'm leaving out the potatoes I usually add so that I can use it for EESP if I want. Unfortunately parsnips don't count either denise.

joho, all classes do follow that format and many of us hate it. So while the format's the same the consultants do vary. My own is nice but dim in that she doesn't really think much but she does encourage us to share tips. Others can be really good at promoting discussion. There are a number of Dorset Cereal muesli's as a HEB but not the granola.

meg, so glad you enjoyed the fish & chips. The great thing about being a target member is that you don't have to go to group every week if you don't want to. Get back on plan and see how you feel by next week's meeting.

I was very good tonight. Pub didn't do JPs but they did do new potatoes. I had steak, salad and new potatoes. So only syns were in 2 onion rings and salad dressing which is light and citrussy. I did have a few wine syns but could have been far worse.:)

I'm using up some dauphinoise from the freezer tomorrow with too much cheese and crème fraiche in. I just seem to lurch from one meal to another at the moment. Which is why I have to be angelic in between.

Thanks for all the thankyou's for the chart.. t'isn't necessary but thanks :o

I've had a sneaky weigh in this morning and doesn't look like i've lost anything again  fed up of not losing now.. i'm back to writing my meals down in my big notebook i think for the time being as my doodle diary isn't quite enough room to check out why im going wrong.

So menu for today - please shout out if anything looks wrong.. EE
    B - banana, yogurt, alpen light(3)
L - ryvita minis (heb) 2 cheese triangles (0.5 hea) beetroot salad
T - fish, BNS & roast veg, salad, pickles, yogurt jelly (0.5)
    S - crisps (5) milk in tea (0.5 hea)

    So that's 8.5 syns...

counting pennies - you've reminded me to stay to class on Thursday night to try and motiate myself again, it really does help get into the right mind set.. only 2lb off my stone so really need to get that.. enjoy your gym visit :j

tweets - we might try the homity pie again, i remember having it a while back and it being lovely.. might add some bacon/gammon bits

Morning everyone! Feeling positive this morning, it took me ages to get that shiny with 3 weeks gaining rather than losing so I'm really happy :D

I'm exactly 1 stone off target now, still a few pounds off that healthy bmi thing, and losses are much slower than at the beginning so need to be on-plan 100% if I'm going to get there.

Our consultant told us last night to do a kind of hand signal to her if we don't want to talk during IT. I've been going 30+ weeks and it's the first I heard of this!

Glad you are feeling more positive CP :)

I just looked at the chart again and we've lost over 10 stone already :j

I think that I've got all the homity pie ingredients in after my big shop yesterday, so I'm going to double check and make that for tea if I can. I'll probably put some swede and carrot in the mash to up the speed foods. I went to sainsbugs rather than my usual tesco and found some new quorn sausages with roasted garlic in which sounded delicious so I'll do some of them too. There's also a quorn chorizo now but I've not given that a go yet.

We've got some overnight - will send you some if you like. ;). I'm doing a big notepad with all my eats in running alongside the Doodle Diary (not a lot of space in Doodle Diary for entering all my eats so having to squash them up - perhaps there is a message there ). Started to do my measurements but I couldn't find my waist - will have a look for it later. :D
