Crabapple, Shala and Countingpennies feeling much the same as yourselves at the minute. The mojo needs to return!!

Totally agree that when there is less to lose things have to be tighter!

Jealous of your cheese Meg! Hope you enjoyed! I sometimes find if you have a proper treat like that you are more focused the rest of the time because you want to make up for it. I know I am getting an Indian on Saturday so will try and be goodish until then.

Shala I've jumped on the scales as well and not looking at all good so know exactly how you feel! Love the ruthless deleting of people from the chart :rotfl:

We've got some overnight - will send you some if you like. ;). I'm doing a big notepad with all my eats in running alongside the Doodle Diary (not a lot of space in Doodle Diary for entering all my eats so having to squash them up - perhaps there is a message there ). Started to do my measurements but I couldn't find my waist - will have a look for it later. :D

Never heard of hand signals during IT either Crabapple. Wow over 10st already - that's what I would call a smallish person :D

We have a reasonable covering too tweets so don't think they are only picking on you. Not too bad with snow but its the bloomin ice

Think its going to be an EE day today as I fancy a banana for my brekkie when I go to mums shortly.

Have a good day everyone and stay safe.

Hate the ice , that's all covered up with the snow its really heavy not liking it school I work at is 1 and half miles from home all downhill going . I normally catch the bus but dunno if it will be running.

I got the doodle diary and finding it hard putting my daily menu in. Good job I don't have a breakfast or my daily menu wouldn't fit in. Was thinking next week seeing I don't exercise of putting menu in both food and exercise boxes :)

My husband weighs less than 10 stone. I'd count him as a smallish person :rotfl:

No snow here - we had a sprinkle on two mornings last week but it was gone pretty quickly. Down south and in our area it rarely hits except on the hills, something to do with the lie of the land.

  • What do people do at their meetings? All we basically do is go round the room finding out how everyone has done, that generally takes more than the full hour and we don't have time for anything else. Now we've got more people, it's positively tedious.

I've cooked one today for tomorrow and, in the morning, I'll be making lentil soup from the stock. I'm leaving out the potatoes I usually add so that I can use it for EESP if I want. Unfortunately parsnips don't count either denise.

I was very good tonight. Pub didn't do JPs but they did do new potatoes. I had steak, salad and new potatoes. So only syns were in 2 onion rings and salad dressing which is light and citrussy. I did have a few wine syns but could have been far worse.:)

I'm using up some dauphinoise from the freezer tomorrow with too much cheese and crème fraiche in. I just seem to lurch from one meal to another at the moment. Which is why I have to be angelic in between.

Thanks Maman re parsnips - I'd forgotten they're one of the veg that can't be used as Speed because they're starchy; still nothing to stop me having it on EE days:D which as you know is what I do mainly.

Have to agree with all Maman's other comments as well.

Back later with my menu plan.

Tweets hateful!!! You can keep that snow. Although from the look of the sky outside we are going to get hit again today. Thankfully its hasn't really lay yet. But we are getting a bit of snow every other day or so.

Just get me to the weekend so I can hibernate, says she who has just booked herself into body pump Friday night and has Child Protection Training to attend all day Saturday. :rotfl: Saturday night hibernation with alcohol I think this week:D Giving up my weekend booze certainly hasn't helped me lose any weight! Strange that using my syns on alcohol doesn't seem to affect me whereas using them on choc / cheese / crisps etc seems to be a real stumbling point for maintaining / gaining.

Jocks, our group is similar normally goes along the lines of such and such has lost or gained whatever. Do you know why you've gained such and such will normally say yes I'd 3 KFCs, a Chinese and 4 bottles of wine, someone else will say well I'd 4 pizzas and 10 Mars Bars, it goes on and like this and it is not helpful or constructive in any way shape or form.

Recipes or meals are never discussed and its generally people talking about how there relieved they only have a lb on after cramming rubbish into their mouths. I think a lot of people only really go for the social aspect and aren't even bothered about losing weight (in my group) anyway. The most successful ones next to me seem to lose around 1 - 2 stone before they totally stall and go up and down for ever not really losing anything or leave to return months later heavier than before.

I am there 2 years and hey I might have put on some over Christmas and be struggling but after a year I was 6 stone down and going strong. I guess its what you make of it really. Its frustrating but take what you want from it and ignore the rest. Your doing fab!!:T

    Hi everyone :hello:

I just joined SW yesterday. Looking to lose around 2 stone

Had to go with what I had in my cupboards today (nothing!) So far I've had:

Breakfast - tea and weetabix with skimmed milk (only had one as I didn't realise they were individually packaged in my work's restaurant!)
Lunch - having a jacket potato with beans and salad and probably a can of diet drink
Dinner - undecided as I need to go shopping
Snack - will have a muller light yoghurt if I'm hungry and I have 2 ryvita to use as well

Hope everyone is doing well today! :)

    Lost so far:2 lbs
  • Yes getting a little sick of trying to drill down why someone isn't losing weight, it's usually because after about five mins of questioning they like to drink 3 beers before bed or went out to Taybarns. Its fair enough but we ran out of time for the girl who was feeling down as she'd not lost weight (nice girl who has lost 4st but stuck) who we could have helped.

I got a shirt from Debenhams for Christmas, that looked like a tent on me so I took it back, I assumed it was an XL my usual size, but turns out it was an L.

I am now comfortably a Medium!!! I've never bought M clothes in my whole life, in 1994 when I was 13, I was wearing size L football shirts. I know that because I still have them.

I can't imagine myself ever being Small, I'm 6ft 2, but the M ones were looking a little baggy.
