Just had a shock. A white wrap is NINE syns. Had bit of leftover SW quorn curry from last night and hubby and me had that with a wrap each which were lurking in the freezer.

Then I looked it up. I could have had a large slice of bread for 4.5!!

Yep wraps are a killer!!! I love them too. If I buy a pack I end up eating them all within a few days so I just don't do it anymore. Fajitas just aren't the same without the wrap. I can't get the Be good ones either so for me wraps are now a very rare occasional treat

If something bothers you about the staff, tell them. I don't think any of them are being mean intentionally. Ours always says something positive even if you've had a gain, a girl has gained the last two weeks but she's still lost 4 stone overall, so its a good achievement.

When they say how long you've been going, I think they're trying to introduce you to the new members and encourage them a little.[/QUOTE]

That's exactly what it is and that's exactly why I rarely stay anymore I'm sick of being pointed out to new members like some sort of freak at the circus!

I'm happy to report a 1.5 lb loss this week:beer:

lunch, I wasn't really hungry so just had a salad with celery sticks with a scraping of peanut butter on.

Well done for your loss retiredlady. I love celery with peanut butter, it's so good to know I'm not the only one, I get such strange looks if I tell anyone! I just want to go and get some celery now so I can have some. :p

    I'm shocked, that's a lot of syns.

It's made me wonder if I can legitimately count one as a HEB, but the ones I buy here in Spain are described as 'integral' which I believe is equivalent to wholemeal, and they are 60g each.

I only have them occasionally, but I might rethink if I'm struggling to lose weight.

Been in and out of the house today and tried to catch up with the thread when I've been sat down - finally done it!

WI shortly. I was getting random numbers off my scales this morning so frankly I have no idea if I've lost or not. I'll have to wait and see.

Whatever happens I am not going to mess around with the plan next week, I'm going to be on it 100% because I've got less to lose now and can't afford to eat out or oversyn etc :o

I'm eating some party rings right now, seeing as I now know the syns! They were at toddler height in the supermarket and she insisted on getting some, it wasn't me just buying biscuits for the fun of it.

Someone who works with my hubby left our group because of the shock expressed loudly by one of our weighers at her gain :(

I have been 'threatened' with telling everyone about my weight loss journey, I guess to encourage new members. I've lost the most of anyone in the group at the moment and in about 7 months so I get to be a shining example of SW

Mumoftwo the only person you have to explain yourself to is yourself, nobody else! Never let that put you off going to class. You can always just weigh and go if you feel like that.

If I have a fiver for the number of times the weigh in lady who is supposed to not comment on weight has said to me "Now what have you been doing" lol. I'd have wallpaper fivers:rotfl: Meg!

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Wallpaper fivers what a dream that would be. I am on the naughty step, not going to weigh in tonite. I went to stay with my brother and sil thinking it would be quite safe as my sis is also doing SW only to find it was their treat night at a lovely Fish restaurant. Fine I thought, oh yeah you could pick what you wanted as long as it was fish and chips, OK go with the flow and ordered the same as my SIL, which was the regular then wondered why my Brother ordered small. Then saw the size of the portions being served at the next table, they were huge so rapidly
changed my order to small, it was still enough to feed the neighbours too. and I ate it all and the bread and butter served with it, Supper back at home was a big plate of cheese and crusty bread and butter, nightcap Baileys and ice in a half pint glass .

Back home now and totally unrepentant, loved every bit of it.
