Ohh just had a unexpected treat someone by me must be having a party and I have watched the most brilliant firework display through my sitting room window. It was lovely sitting cosy and warm with a cup of hot chocolate seeing the sky all lit up.

Happy New Year everyone! I hope 2015 will be a year of happiness and success for all.

cte you are very welcome to join us and motivation and support on this thread is always in good supply. Try not to worry about the 'being overweight' business, every lb off is getting you better. I started out with an obese bmi and I'm still overweight but it's been such a change so far!
8lb target for the challenge please Shala.
Don't want to be too optimistic! I'm really hoping that I will be at my actual target by Easter time or at the worst by my birthday in June. It's one of those pesky birthdays with an 0 on the end
Didn't do too well sticking to plan yesterday - I don't think my cravings for white bread products have yet been sated! Never mind, onwards and upwards and although I'm supposed to be eating out today I shall try to be good...
Only 1.5lb from my 4 stone shiny. I would so like it sooner rather than later:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

LL - I've used carrot and courgette cut similar to tagliatelle, worked well and although it's not the real thing it was a nice alternative for a low carb day.. Think the one we ordered has two settings for that size and the spaghetti
Nothing exciting planned for NYE, sister asked me to go with her and hubby to the Trafford centre.. Mooch round the shops then meal and film, dunno yet!
I think I need a spiraliser, be grateful for some feedback on the various types for other sw MSEers.
I've been studying the new SP plan this morning, basically it's meals with half P foods & half S foods, is that right? Or can the fraction be any make up? Could it be a third P & two thirds S?
No stodgy carbs (but good veg ones ok), no bananas, blueberries, cherries, grapes, kiwis, mangos or pineapple. And unfortunately no yogurt :-(
Can you have yogurt & syn it? How would that work? Some yogurts are syn free & most have very low syns.
They say yogurts help you loose weight & I've bought any Easiyo to make my own yogurt from skimmed milk - be a shame not to use it.
I'm starting it Saturday, I wi on Saturday.0
