Shorts are not allowed full stop.. in or outside in this house. I almost died at the scales yesterday. These legs are not fit for viewing in any way, shape or form until at least 10lbs is gone.
An hour of yoga... I managed 10 minutes of pilates and felt good about that :rotfl: no wonder you ache!
I am also gutted about going back to workit is just depressing knowing that I am stuck inside and everyone else is outside - but I guess in actual fact the week after Easter holidays finished.. hardly anyone is actually off work! Just got to suck it up and hope it goes quickly.
Hope your shift goes quickly tomorrow hun. x

:rotfl: at shorts, my legs are also on the blue scale of white so not a pretty combination! Shorts are only allowed in the house or abroad (with a bit of fake tan - not tangerine coloured tan though
)
I got my new scales, weighed myself and have lost...nothing. I was hoping for at least 1lb. Maybe next week? On the bright side at least I haven't gained any weight.
Would be nice to lose at least a couple of lbs before my holiday. I have a real fear that the only half decent knee length denim shorts I own are going to be too tight.Kind of scared to try them on now.
Lilt I think you are doing pretty damn well to do 10 mins of Pilates with the pain you are in. :T I just felt in the mood to do more than my usual 30 mins today and had the time.
Hope work goes well for you too Lilt, I'm more annoyed because DH is still off and I'm childish that way. :rotfl:
Have made a tuna pasta to go with the BBQ and some baked potatoes. The leftovers can do for lunch tomorrow. Am marinating chicken legs in hot sauce, garlic and olive oil so hopefully they will be nice on the BBQ.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Very jealous of your BBQ. I got so hungry and stressed out just now because (although it is dinner time) I wanted to leave my dinner a little bit so I could stave off my evening eating with a full tummy. Cue me charging into the kitchen in a strop and cooking... 650gms of diced turkey to eat on its own like popcorn.
I have come to my senses after eating about a third of it:o:o from the pan
:o:o but I added in soy sauce and sesame oil at the last second and it is delicious! Better than popcorn! I've popped a little tub in my stack of food for work in the fridge in case I get overdramatic there as well :rotfl: to be trotted out in case of emergency!! And now I feel so much less stressed. I wish I didn't get so hung up over food and the lack of it. I've probably got about £800 of stuff stocked in my kitchen in case of the zombie-ageddon. And now I can't eat 90% of it!!
I own no shorts. Literally none. Not happening.. :rotfl: and I haven't been on holiday in 7 odd years because I have lived by the sea for the last 5 and a half
P.S Him is off next weekend so I am sulking because he isn't back at work until 2nd May after finishing yesterday. So I totally get the childish sulk thing.

Off to work soon - it's lovely and sunny outside and it's not fair.
Managed 10 minutes on the cross trainer this morning, pushed through the pain but had to stop to rest my knees a couple of times. Damn dodgy knees. Then did 30 mins of yoga which was good but am struggling to remember all the correct positioning & to breathe properly at the same time. :rotfl:
Have planned all my main meals out for the day so should be under my calorie goal with calories to spare. :j
Lilt, having so much food in the kitchen you can't eat must be stressful. You're doing really well with alternatives so far though. :TSuccess is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Another 40 mins of yoga this morning but knees are still achey from the cross trainer yesterday, wonder if knee supports would help?
Feeling wiped out from work as had a horrendous shift yesterday, walked into chaos and was just one thing after another. Still got another 6 late shifts to go.
Paid another £50 off the CC which was survey money that came through. :j
DH off to the beer festival in the lovely sunny weather today whilst I go off to work. :mad:Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -

Ooh visitors! Hi DFOD & Brightspark. :hello:
I've been AWOL again, been running about daft trying to fit in exercise and housework before going to work on the late shifts.
Had an exercise rest day yesterday but did 10 mins on the cross trainer again today and used a knee support this time which was much better. Also doing some knee strengthening exercises to try & improve them.
Then did 25 mins of yoga before showering and doing my huge pile of ironing whilst watching Vikings, am halfway through season 1 and still not sure I like it. Managed to pick up my order with the new workout gear & jump into £land before work as well so got a lot done today. :j
Some of the seeds I planted have little shoots! I'm all excited cos am usually rubbish with plants. :rotfl:
Did quite well with the calories today as well so pleased about that. :T
DH has been gallivanting all weekend, he went back to the beer festival again but with my brother this time and was out the whole time I was at work. I dropped him off and picked him up again on the way home (via the kebab shop & dropping my brother off). It's all right for some. :rotfl:
Work hasn't been too bad and only 2 more shifts to go now. :jSuccess is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -
Did 25 mins of yoga yesterday and only went 33 calories over my limit. Today I did 10 mins on the cross trainer and another 25 mins of yoga. Weighed myself and the scales now say I've lost 4lbs. :j Seems quite a lot but not complaining.
Horrible weather today but only one more late shift and then I have two days off. :j I'm going to have a semi- lazy day tomorrow, still need to do some exercise and have a bit of housework to do but otherwise I'll be chilling out.
Cuddling with one of the cats on the couch before I need to leave for work, he's lovely and warm. :ASuccess is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -
Hey you!!
Amazing weight loss, don't forget that when you cut calories you lose water weight in the first week so that accounts for the bigger loss. It will settle down!
Yes it can be stressful but I am finding as long as I keep my options there in front of me I am not tempted. A few longing looks at the kit-kats but still not gone awry yet and have had 2 little pieces of green & blacks as the squares are tiny and barely have any carbs being such a large percentage cocoa.
You're doing amazing with exercise. I saw the pharmacist for an annual health check and she said my exercise is amazing considering my problems with my back and what I can do. I think I need a fitbit to tell me how much I walk
I lost 3lbs this weekmine is all fat not water as my diet doesn't do the losing water thing, so high fat it is! Long way to go!
Big hugs, only this shift and you're done! xx
