Lovely to hear from you. Mad how much you can earn from surveys. Time consuming though!
Relax.. I hope you did. You work too hard!! xxx

Hello Lilt, don't worry I've had quite a few relaxing days now, pity I'm going back to work on Tuesday for a night shift.
Yes can make a fair amount from surveys but it does take time and can be deathly dull. I like it when I get to try products and stuff at home though. I always seem to get dishwasher tablets to try. Saves me buying them I suppose.
Just chilling out with DH yesterday and again today, catching up on some tv and reading which is nice. Planning to go out shopping tomorrow with my mum and sister, will be nice to see them.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. I signed up to Bzz Agent a couple of years ago. I had some awesome things to try. the last one was an entire set of 100g bars of Lindt's new 'Hello' range plus some normal sized bars
:D that was awesome.
Boo to Tuesdays night shiftI don't know how you do that. I have to sleep at night. The end. :rotfl:
Hope you enjoy shopping. I know it isn't the same kind but I just saved myself an hour by arranging a collection from Mr A straight after nursery in the morning :j:j:j - an hour more to gloss the cupboard :rotfl: I really need to get this 'me time' thing sorted out in my head. I spend it all washing, drying, ironing, painting, cleaning, cooking... Sigh. xxx

Had a nice day with my mum & sister and bought a few bits & bobs for my holiday at the end of May.
Went to my sister's house afterwards and saw my nieces and nephews for a couple of hours which was nice. They were playing up a bit and showing off because they had visitors. They run rings round my sister but there are 4 of them.
DH came to visit as well & we got a naughty Chinese on the way home which was nice. Really need to restart my exercise again, have just been so tired that I couldn't force myself to move.
Need to convince DH to come to Ald! with me tomorrow for a top-up shop before I'm back to work.
I've not had to do a night shift in my current job before but did in one of my old jobs, quite enjoy them actually as I'm a night owl & can sleep at any time.
Lilt the Lindt sounds amazing. :T You need to practice relaxing a bit more. :rotfl:Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -
4 kids? Is your sister mad?! :rotfl: - I can't deal with 1!!!
I know I need to practice relaxing. I'm going to sleep now if that counts? And I didn't manage to gloss the cupboard so attempting it on Friday morning
I was so chuffed by the Lindt. Product testing is the bomb
Did you manage to get OH to go shopping? I've given up and just do it by myself on nursery days - but now I've discovered this click and collect thing I am quite excitedsad case!!
Hope you had a good last day before going back to work!! xx

Have been AWOL again due to work, last shift today then off for 2 days. :j
My night shift last week was quite good and went in really quickly. Was quite tired the next day but still managed to get a lot of housework done and made a version of minestrone soup. It was a big recipe though and my biggest pot wasn't big enough so had to split it into 2 pots. Think I need a giant soup pot.
Lilt I actually think my sister is a crazy person - she has 4 kids, a dog, a cat, works part time and does it all on her own! :T I really don't know how she copes. She also has a much better social life than me. :rotfl:
I did manage to get DH to come for the food shop with me, he's not too bad usually but he definitely prefers ordering it online and getting it delivered.I've not tried the click & collect yet. :rotfl:
Need to convince DH to take my car for its service soon since he's off work after today for nearly 3 weeks. I have a week's annual leave next week but I think he should do it as he has much more time off than me.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Some people just thrive on pure chaos and survive on caffeine and fresh air, your sister sounds like one of them!!
Click and collect not so great. Fatal collision between my leg of lamb and a bus after it slipped out of my way overloaded pram. Order online... do not see the ridiculous volume you are ordering and then turn up to pick it up with one flimsy pushchair for 6 of their crates worth!!
Of course DH should take the car. And get the garden ready and do all the other little chores until it is perfect ready for you to have a lovely week off together... will that happen? Of course not :rotfl:
Ref the soup... FREE SOUP - just get all the way to the end of the checkout and put in your code, the p&p disappears tooxxx

Thanks for the soup link Lilt, have ordered the Thai paste as that's the one that I'd probably have most difficulty re-creating!
I think you may be right about my sister, it's definitely chaos with all those kids. :rotfl:
Oh dear at the click & collect.
DH said he will take the car if I want. :j I'm such a baby, hate dealing with garages & all that stuff.
My MIL is also coming to stay for a few days next week so I have a list of jobs for DH. :rotfl: Number one job is to clean all the carpets - the water is always dirty manky yuck. _pale_ Then he can clean the windows. He's already cut the grass so that should be ok. Oh yes and he needs to wash both cars. :rotfl: I'm sure I can think of more. :A
Work was not too bad last night but had a wee busy spell which meant I didn't get my dinner until after 8pm. Just going to have a chill out day today and my mum has invited us down for dinner.:T It's lovely and sunny for a change as well. :jSuccess is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Loving the jobs for DH. Yay for him doing the car stuff!! Men get less gip from the garage blokes and probably end up getting charged less too half the time!
Welcome for the soup. I did the exact same thing but also got the moroccan one to tryanything that is quick and easy is a win!
It has been beautiful here and have spent nothing but eaten £30 worth of morries deli food and then another meal out at spoons so am happy and fat today!!xx

Glad you had a nice day Lilt.
I was actually able to sit in the garden for a while today due to the sun. :j There was still a chilly wind but sat out for near enough 2 hours. Was nice to sit in the sun and not have to rush off to work. DH hung the washing out and made lunch. :T
We walked down to my mum's for dinner which was lovely. I weighed myself on my mum's scales, which was not so lovely. I have been very lazy and knew I had put on weight but looks like I have gained an extra stone! It's just pure laziness & eating too much.
Am now the heaviest I think I've ever been so really need to start the exercise again & cut down on junk food. I just really love carbs and sweet things.
Am going to get back on the cross trainer tomorrow but really not looking forward to it.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0
