Ok I didn't go on the cross-trainer but I did 45 mins of yoga instead. Was really struggling towards the end, so unfit again.
Will try and do a bit after work tomorrow as well.
Have just had a lazy day otherwise as back to work in the morning. Luckily only for 3 shifts then off for 9 days. :j
DH cleaned the hall carpet and stairs today so one less area for him to do.:T

Mate I genuinely daren't step on the scales. I think my stones start with a number I've never even been anywhere near before. Am frightened. I really need to do something about it!! (she says eating nik naks at 11pm..
:o:o)
Woohoo to the cleaning. Am very jealous of your cleaner!!!xx

I'm soooo sore - the yoga has hurt every muscle in my body,I'm one big ache. *cries* Damn my lazy-!!!! tendencies and fondness for sweet and/or carby things.
I'm going to force myself to do some stretching and then have a hot bath, hopefully it wil make my soreness a bit less....sore.
I didn't have a biscuit at work. :j This is a major thing for me.
:rotfl: Lilt, I've not had nik naks for years!
Yes my cleaner is doing an acceptable job. :rotfl: He ran out of carpet shampoo so is steam cleaning the bathroom & kitchen instead. :rotfl:Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Forgot to mention it was pay day today!
Have paid my monthly over payments to the BT CC and to the holiday CC. Also used £40 survey money to pay extra off the balance transfer CC as 0% runs out in 4 months and the balance is roughly £1300.
Not a great deal off the debt total but at least it is still going down and that's including some holiday spends.
Have been doing surveys and a bit of housework instead of my yoga, so will go and do it now.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -
Hey you!!
Yay for OP's well done!and lol at the cleaner, bless him. Grafting hard. The best I get is a load of washing done and badly hung out or wedged onto radiators in forms that require much ironing and sometimes re-washing because it hasn't dried in time to not stink due to his ridiculous method of stuffing them on..
Am with you on feeling the serious pain today!! Soft play... for an hour and a half of pure running and grabbing a 3 year old and climbing and lifting her and pulling and chasing and sliding... I am feeling it!! :rotfl:
Well done on no biscuit!! This is a big thing for me alsoxx

Have managed to do another few yoga work outs over the last few days and various muscles still achey, especially the stomach muscles. Also walked into town today which is just over half an hour but then went out for dinner and a couple of drinks.
Was at the nurse today and was ridiculously glad that she didn't want to weigh me this time.Am definitely heavier than last time. Really need to cut down on everything and really just keep up with the yoga and get back on to the cross trainer. *lies down on floor and has a kicking, screaming tantrum* It's so much harder to lose weight than gain it.
My MIL is currently in residence (arrived Sunday night). She departs tomorrow night. I am struggling. It's not that I don't like her, it's just difficult having to live with her for days at a time.
DH managed to sell some stuff so I have another £100 to pay off my CC. :j
The balance of the holiday accommodation was taken yesterday so need to BT it to the 0% holiday CC.
Lilt it has taken many, many years of careful training to get DH to this level and he still doesn't hang washing up the way I like it. :rotfl: Hope you recovered from soft play, it does sound exhausting!Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Another 35 mins of yoga done this morning and am back on MFP to watch what I'm eating.
I'm afraid I can't be trusted to say no to something tasty unless I have to account for it, even if it's just MFP. It makes me think about it a bit more, like "Do I really want this biscuit so much I will do extra exercise for it??" Usually the answer is no because I'm lazy.:rotfl:
Have stripped the bed and am airing the bedroom so will get the sheets washed and out on the line whilst it's dry outside. Also have shredding and filing of lots of household paperwork to do.
DH & MIL are sorting out a hanging basket of flowers for the front of the house. DH's responsibility as I have the touch of death with plants. :whistle:Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. 35 mins of yoga again today, will brave the cross trainer tomorrow as well. DH went on the cross trainer this morning which is good as he has been meaning to do it for ages, think my yoga work outs have shamed him into it.
We now have quite a lot of flowers and plants potted in the back garden, hope they survive as they look nice and cheerful. MIL went home last night, was nice to see her but nice to have the house to ourselves again. :j
Was actually a lovely sunny day here for a change, managed to get two washings hung out and dried. DH had his first barbecue of the year as well. :cool:Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Have had a busy few days socialising, went over my calorie goal Friday & Saturday so will need to be extra good.
However I did do yoga both days and went on the cross trainer.
Having an exercise rest day today then back to it tomorrow. Planning on a chill out day overall to be honest.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Hey there!!
If I had to live with MiL for more than a couple of hours a week I think I would snap. It isn't so much her s it is FIL. But she still drives me mad all by herself!
Applaud your sticking to MFP. I get 2 days in and get bored. So then I eat the same things all of the time just so I can copy it from the day before :rotfl:
Enjoy your chill out day today. I am sort of doing the same... with a 3 year old. So not so much. I did manage a bath and a glass of cider last night! xx
