I'm sure this has been discussed in another thread and there was no reason to not post them.
It has been discussed lots of times, but I have stopped posting them lately, as I feel that there has been a lot of negativity about them. I would feel happier to continue posting them if I felt that most people were happy for them to be posted.0 -
keep posting
there only seems to be a handful of people who object to the T&C's0 -

I'm not sure, but I think that velvetglove decides who goes on there. I did add a question here but velvetglove did not reply, although a couple of compers did. The suggestion of poll was just for interest. If this is not allowed, then that is fine, but I am not going to keep posting them if I feel that there is a lot of negativity surrounding them, I will bow out and leave it to other people.0 -
i'd just like to add i'm one of the posters that if i find a
new comp on sprinkle & it hasn't been posted i'll post it on
here for everyone who wishes to enter,
i've entered majority of comps on the site & log in
each day for the daily entry & never had any problems
with extra spam since joining nor any problems with the site,
well, except one ..
i've not won from them yet :eek:please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
I am one of the people that have posted Sprinkle comps on here. I do not know the company personally. I first became aware of the site when they were posted by somebody that was apparently related to the site. I have won once from Sprinkle. Not a comp that I posted, but one that another user posted.
I would like to post a poll to gain a feel for how many people think that they should be added to the banned list and how many people think that their competitions should be allowed to be posted. I don't know how to set up such a poll. Would anyone be able to help me to set up a poll, or would somebody be able to set up a poll for me? If my understanding is correct of how polls work, I think you can keep the names of people who have voted and what they voted secret. If this is the case, then I would like to do that, so that people do not feel intimidated by making their views known.
Thanks in anticipationDebsawinner wrote: »Is this the usual process when deciding whether a site should be on the 'Banned/Spam' list?
Hi,as far as I am aware banned & spam are two quite different beasts on MSE comps.
The "Spam" list is openly posted in the comping guide.
The banned list, if a list actually exists, is only actually known to MSE admin & the general membership only knows that a site is banned either by past knowledge or encountering the link being " blocked " ie: !!!!!!!
MSE Andrea has asked in the past that we do not try & bypass the block: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=46337801&postcount=210
As far as I am aware MSE Admin do not ask for votes on banning/blocking a site but the report functon is available to all to use: forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
The spam list:
11 Are there any sites, from experience, which are likely to generate lots of spam?
There are a few which have come to our collective attention as sites that, when used for comps, seem to generate lots of unwanted postal, email & phone call attention. These are listed below for your information, however, please do remember that this is only the collective opinion of other MSE Compers & does not necessarily reflect upon the sites themselves.

I called it 'spam/banned' only because I knew I had seen a List of some sorts but couldn't remember what it was called!
Pleased to hear that we don't vote on these sorts of issues!Debbie0
