Just a warning that the marketing from this can be quite full on, as per this thread in Compers Chat corner!!!

I'm not surprised, they used to be called "The Independent Order of Forresters". They were, and still are a direct sales life company, similar to the old "Crown Life" as was.

If memory serves me right they used to take a record player into your home and get you to listen to a recorded sales pitch!

I'm amazed that they have survived all these years.
  • As cagsd has said the marketing is quite full on. I have received a call from the local rep trying to set up an appointment, (very polite and took my no thanks with good grace). May I suggest only selecting "Rules for Thomson Travel Gift Card Free Prize Draw" when you enter.
  • I must have missed a tick box somewhere as they have knocked on my door yesterday

Following a pm from another comper and a look at this thread in the Compers Chat Corner, I've added this site to the section on the guide: 11 Are there any sites, from experience, which are likely to generate lots of spam? (You need to scroll down to that point to read the list.)

Please do consider whether you are able to cope with the kind of contacts and marketing tehniques that other compers have said are employed by the representatives of this company.

PM sent to aneres requesting they add an alert to their post so compers who don't or sometimes forget to read the whole thread are made aware of other compers experiences.
Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out
