Thanks for running the board, I will start updating soon, having a stressy time and I eat when I'm stressed so going backwards at the moment! XJanuary 2025 - Debt £20,0060

PS
I prefer the chart with the total weight lost included, I think would help to spur people on especially on a low loss weekI know it would for me when I eventually make the chart

Thanks for the charts, they are very motivating! Don't think I've lost anything for 4 weeks now!
Got a Fitbit yesyetday as they were reduced and it's very motivating. Hoping that it combined with being back in the routine of work and the 5:2 will help me have a loss this week!LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Hello :hello:I was wondering if it was possible to join in? It seems like a nice friendly and supportive group. I have lost with SW and WW lots of times but like my debt I have struggled to sustain it! I know what to do (eat less move more!!!) and hate paying out to be weighed!
This weight loss journey is more about getting healthy than being a certain size or weight although using BMI as an indicator I have 65lb to loose to get to a healthy BMI (that is a scary number!!!) - my plan is to use a calorie counter on my phone and need to increase my exercise to get fitter so might have a look and see if I can find an app to track my progress with getting fitter. I did have a gym membership but cancelled it to save money and I wasn't using it so need to find cheap of free forms of exercise- I am also hoping some of this helps my kids get fitter and more active too!
Please let me know what I have to do to join?
Thanks0 -
Morning, sorry I have been majorly MIA, the weightloss challenge I was taking part in on facebook finished, my team won

But then fell into a major funk. But in my morning depression I joined a gym...I hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.

Hi Judi24! You are very welcome to join
I am following Slimming World too but just using my extremely old book, my dodgy memory and lots of googling. All I need to add you to the chart is your starting weight in lbs please - you can pm me if you prefer not to share but we are a lovely supportive bunch and you won't find any judgement here. Weigh in day is Wednesday and the chart is posted on a Thursday, whoever loses the highest percentage of weight that week is our weekly champion! You can of course weigh in on a different day and just post it here on a Wednesday if that works better for you. Welcome to the thread!
Fmess which Fitbit did you go for? If you are looking for new friends to add let me knowmy daily steps are so low though its depressing - I used to work outside and be on the go all day, sometime for 13 hour shifts. Really wish I'd had one then to see what I clocked up!
Congrats on winning the weight loss challenge pixtotts! And on joining the gym too - will you be doing any classes? I did Metafit for the first time on Tuesday but wasn't overly impressed tbh. I really just prefer the treadmill but then I think why am I paying all of this money to run inside when I could run outside for free? I do think its guilts me into it though!
I had a great week last week up until Friday when I had my belated pancake day and ate six pancakesStill, this time last year I would have had them on Shrove Tuesday as well, and probably had tea first both days so could have been worse! I also had a few drinks on both Friday and Saturday which is unheard of these days having only drunk once since Christmas. I updated MFP yesterday and was gobsmacked to see how many calories it added up to! So won't be doing that again! Back on the straight and narrow today, have woken up with a cold which for most people means they lose their appetite but for me means I just eat and eat - but not this time! I also started the 30 days abs challenge this morning and have packed my gym stuff for after work - please all shout at me and make me go!

Hi shrimpy, I went for the Charge as it was reduced due to the new Charge HR being released. I'd love to be friends! I don't know how to add friends though.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)
