Sorry to hear about your friend Dinah x Thanks for posting the chart.

Congratulations MavvyMoo! Highest this week and second highest overall - well done! :T and congratulations to all our challengers!

I have tried Yogalosophy Dinah and did enjoy it, totally get what you're saying about Jillian's version too, pretty much what I expected. i wouldn't expect her to have a calming effect on anyone but I still love her! I think I'll have a peek on youtube first and try it out :o

Cinny, 50 squats a day is still pretty bada$$! Definitely best to slow it down. My knee seems to be ok now after I rested it from running (I flatter myself by calling it that!) so hopefully you will feel the same.

Well done on resisting the chocolate too Haras. i quite like the chocolate rice cakes, totally can't remember what make they are now but they have teeny choc chips in them and are huge, only 60 odd calories and satisfying (for a rice cake).

I have full on got the munchies today so am heading out at lunch to pick up some more fruit/veg based nibbles as I feel i will be grazing all day! My boss just suggested instigating Cake Friday at work but I negotiated him to change it to Fruit Basket Friday instead - hope none of my colleagues find out! :rotfl:

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Hi all,

Weigh in at our house this morning, oh dear! Whilst I have lost again, it's an even smaller amount than last week's 1/2lb - I'm glad my scales measure in quarters ;)

Hubby has gained 1lb, so I'm definitely going to drag our lazy bums out for a walk or two this weekend!

Thank you to both you and NIM for running this as it must be extremely time consuming and brain numbing especially at a time like this.

I had to re-read the bit about the average 3 year old weighing 40lb, as that is what dd weighs. And she's now 7!!

Can you give me that in lb please Stereochild, and a target weight / amount to loose?

Gem-gem I'm a bit confused on your weights, I have 3 weights from you before this one:
    189
    185.5
    182.5

Now we have a 167.5, can you clarify this weeks weight please?

    Hi HH

Any chance of a starting weight, preferably in lb.

In fact, from now on can everyone please report their current weight and amount lost in lb. Having to calculate everything becomes rather time consuming.

I've done the chart now so will send to D for posting, missing a lot of weights today.

    Apologies- only just seen this.

My starting weight this time (in pounds!) is 259.16.

Have set myself a target of 48lbs for the year. Hopefully more but I will be more motivated is something is achievable.

Will weight in on Sundays or Mondays. Have been reading some back pages - do I need to report the weigh in on Wednesdays? If so will do my best on my phone as am often away with work.

Having a good weigh week as you do when refocussing. Being lower carb its rather tiring at first until the switch kicks in.

Thanks for letting me join in. The last board I was on everyone frittered away and end up being only one posting for weeks but still kept me going having to post!!!

    Good Luck everyone

    HHx

Sorry not been online for a couple of days due to a stomach bug :( weighed myself this morning and I've lost 5lb  good, but not good! I'm sure once I start eating proper meals again that some of that will go on. I think I'm dehydrated too, as the room spins when I stand up

Dinah, so sorry for the terrible news about your friend. I hope you are both looking after yourselves. Thanks to you and NIM for running the challenge, hopefully we won't keep losing members. 40lb total loss is good, but I know we can all do better than that.

Congrats Mavvymoo on being our Biggest Loser This week. You are doing fab! :D

Come on everyone, let's refocus for this week and hit it really hard, ready for Wednesday's weigh in.
  • So forgot I hadn't reported rather busy at school. Just the same for me this week.

    Hi,
This week I dropped 1lb down to 12stone 13 and 1/2 lbs. oops I have just converted it into lbs and seen that I missed a whole stone ( in my dreams that I weigh 167.5- hopefully I will get there soon). My weight in lbs should be: 181.5lbs.
    Sorry about that. Gem

Ps. Weighed myself this morning - if I managed not to ruin it over the weekend I will be smiling.
