  • STS for me this week.

I'm not too disheartened as I enjoyed myself on Saturday. To be honest I think I lost 0.3 of a lb, but I'm only counting full lb's otherwise I'll get too confused... Easy done... :D

Thanks for running the thread Dinah and NIM.

My apologies for the delay, a friend I've known since birth lost her baby yesterday and the chart didn't really occur to me. Kind of puts all my niggles well into perspective. NIM has kindly done it again now, a big congrats to Mavvymoo this week!

We've lost a total of 40lbs this week - the average 3 year old child (mine is clearly doing something wrong, she's 3 in 9 weeks and she's 24lb!). If this were to come off one of us rather than as a group this would be the difference you'd see. . We're losing less as a group each week, which isn't so much we're losing less individually, but we're dropping a lot of people week on week, lets try to beat 40lbs next week!

I just googled chicken parmo and now I'm starving! My soup won't be quite the same for lunch.

Which DVDs did you get Birdie? I fell off the 30 day shred wagon this month after a promising start, but will give it another try I think. I fancy the yoga one so might treat myself at some point.

Have kept up the 30 day squat one though - Cinny I had a peek at my tomorrow which I think is your today (confusing) and it looks painful!

The yoga one... it isn't yoga as I know it. It's very very intensive, there is no focussing on a position and your posture it's more like she's found a way to make you do cardio upside down. I have to admit I prefer Bob for yoga, but then there are some really good yoga sections on FabTV for anyone with Sky, Tara Lee's Elements series is shown often and I also rate Mandy Ingber's Yogalosophy series, but yoga is such a personal practice what works for one might not work for another. I use it only as a way to make me relax and feel connected though, it's very rare I feel out of breath after a class, but I do love how peaceful and alive I feel.

I blame parmos for me putting on most of the weight that I did while I was at uni. Ah the memories of a Monday night at the Dickens Inn then moving on to The Crown then stopping for a parmo before grabbing a taxi back to Thornaby.
Lol that was our usual route too. I dated a bloke at Teesside uni for 3 years so I was down most weekends, he lived behind a takeaway opposite Psyche - it was pretty much impossible to go to sleep without a parmo as it was all you could smell. Amazingly I stayed a size 6-8 for my whole time at uni.... I guess a parmo a week and nothing but whiskey, wine and toast in between is a valid diet plan?! It's all this damned healthy eating and balanced diet malarkey that's put it on me.

I haven't done the squat challenge in a few days :( I got this weird click, and I spoke to my physio friend about who said to lay off for a while and focus on walking. Spoil sport. So I just do 50 a day now :o

Totally on board to beat 40lb as a group loss next week! :) Hoping for a beautiful and magical loss next week.

that's so sad about your friend Dinah. :( Hope you're OK and it hasn't put too many nasty thoughts in your head. Can't believe Gracie is only 24lb! Zach (11 months) is 22lb! :o

    Congrats to Mavvymoo! :T

I hope you stayed strong last night and avoided the chocolate Haras!

  • I had a yoghurt covered rice cake - it was a poor substitute but the chocolate remained in tact

Only have it in the house for hubby as otherwise he buys them in the shop and trying to save money but it is always a temptation

Have two boxes of 40 snickers upstairs. I allow myself 1 on a Sunday as my treat. Got them from approved food for £4 for 40 snickers. Great moneysaving but not great for the diet.

Have now lost overall 24lb since I started my diet on 14th nov
